It's a shame that Van der Linden, as the leasing party, is ignoring the issues. Residents are left with non-functioning facilities, which means squatters don't have to make an effort to gain access to the building, which also happens repeatedly, especially when summer is behind us. Communication often goes poorly and the maintenance parties also appear dissatisfied and not involved, even though many reports have been made by residents. Above all, it’s very unfortunate that they can’t consistently deliver the service that they apparently are capable of providing, as evidenced by other reviews, to all properties with all the consequences thereof. This concerns at least the building on Marktplein in Apeldoorn.

It has been a while since I had a viewing done through this real estate agent. Both during the viewing and in response to the offer, they came across as very arrogant. Despite the fact that the bid was above the asking price, they indicated that they were actually offended by its amount.

Ze eisen dat je van tevoren minstens 20 verschillende (zeer persoonlijke) documenten aanlevert, dat je verschillende identificatiestappen doorloopt via een externe app... en vervolgens nemen ze nooit contact met je op. Het online platform dat ze gebruiken (IDD) is een puinhoop. Je kunt je wachtwoord niet wijzigen en je krijgt willekeurig een ander e-mailadres als gebruikersnaam toegewezen. Je kunt zelfs geen bezichtiging krijgen als je ze belt (en een hoog inkomen hebt). Waarschijnlijk oplichting.

When I called to schedule a viewing, I waited 20 min. on hold after which I was disconnected. I called again and waited another time. When I finally got through to them, I said that I had been waiting a long time and before I could finish my sentence, the lady, in a certain tone, said: “we are busy, the phone is glowing red.” I finished my sentence and said that the connection was dropped after 20 min. To which she replied, with a slightly sarcastic tone: “That’s annoying”. I asked if I could view the property and the answer was short: “No, that's not possible anymore”. And we hung up. I found the whole experience so unsettling, especially the tone, that I am taking the trouble to write a review about it.

My experience with this real estate agent was unfortunately not positive. After the viewing I immediately confirmed my interest in the property, but afterwards there was no feedback at all. In the end I had to call myself to ask about the status. Then it was stated that the property would be 'internally rented out'. Now, more than a month later, the property is still for rent. This comes across to me as not very transparent and not careful towards serious candidates. Clear communication and honesty you can expect, but I unfortunately missed that here.
