This is the most rude and least customer-friendly brokerage experience we have ever had, and we have been looking for a house for 2 years already. During the viewing, Petra sat back and we were allowed to view the house ourselves. She was very distant and only answered questions that we asked. The day all bids would be in was the day contact would be made with us. That of course did not happen, which is why I had to call myself. Petra was then incredibly rude, and said “I will contact you”. When I asked if she might know when this would be, the answer was “I don’t know, it could be a week because I still have to discuss with the sellers”. LESS THAN 24 HOURS LATER (!!!) I received a call from Petra saying that our bid had not been accepted. When I asked if we could negotiate, the answer was laughingly “no, the house has already been sold”. A bit strange, since Petra indicated the day before that she had not yet discussed with the sellers. All in all, a brokerage with a smell about it. An absolute no-go! Especially Petra van Werkhoven, appalling treatment of customers, especially in this market! Do not enter into an agreement with this gloomy group.

I rarely write such a quick negative review, but this experience with Petra was so disappointing that I have no choice. Petra behaved in a very unprofessional manner and seemed completely uninterested in our needs. Her unfriendly attitude made the process extremely frustrating and uncomfortable. It is unbelievable that someone in this industry can show so little respect and interest for clients. I strongly advise against Petra to anyone who is serious about buying or selling a house. This is absolutely not recommended!

Communication regarding the house purchase was strange; if you followed up by phone, the responses were short, with little explanation, as if they didn't take my interest in the house seriously. The moment my offer was rejected, the house had already been sold. I was prepared to bid higher or enter into negotiations. But that wasn’t on the table; it was day and it went. I would not recommend this real estate agent, and certainly won’t be selling my house through them in the future. A dishonest game was played here.

As the purchasing party, I experienced the contact as pleasant. Transparent, clear communication and Petra was always quickly available! I always knew exactly where I stood and am now almost formally the owner of a beautiful home. :-)

So, I came back from a cold fair when I contacted them this morning to inquire about an apartment. Frankly ridiculous how Petra spoke to me. Going into details seems unnecessary to me, because the other reviews on Google speak volumes. I hope that the investors' club that uses this office scratches its head a few times and then takes the hare's path, because if this is the party that represents you, I certainly can’t take them seriously.

Very bad experience with this real estate agent, they are not aware of the defects in the homes they sell. Thanks to Petra from Werkhoven, I have lost more than 12,000 euros. It was only when a legal procedure was started that someone could suddenly be sent to look at it on their terms, no consultation possible for other times, you just have to take another day off then, only during working hours, impossible for working people. But contacting them yourself and acknowledging mistakes is out of the question. No good words about this real estate agent! Scandalous practices, especially in these times! Sellers will be happy indeed but please pay very close attention if you buy from this real estate agent! Nice talk where not a single bit is true! I don't wish anyone the misery they brought me! And Mrs. van Werkhoven, you have my number, it would become you to still contact me as I repeatedly requested, but instead you prefer to extort money from people who have to work hard for it and are unable to conduct honest business.

Very friendly realtor! Spontaneous and very approachable. Thanks to Petra, as a first-time buyer in this crazy housing market, I was still able to buy a home. Also a nice team in the office who always greet you very kindly.

Constant complaining. It takes a long time to arrange anything. And trying, after a long time, to still send an invoice that is unjustified. They don't have things in order. They don't have the administration in order. Very disappointing. And I hear this from many more people who rent with vwerkhoven.

We experienced Petra as a charming, kind and enthusiastic woman with expertise. I rate her communication skills (because they couldn't be higher) as very good. Clarity is very pleasant when selling your house. She doesn't promise things she can't deliver. The valuation was realistic, however she was open to our 'response' and that is what makes Van Werkhoven stand out in East Netherlands. The 'straightforward' approach isn't for every Twente resident. To end with a wink: if I now tell you that it will be sunny in Twente for 365 days next year, you won’t believe in miracles either ;-) What shouldn't be forgotten in this text is that the contact with the back office (Laura) has no critical notes whatsoever. We have just purchased a property in Enschede through Van Werkhoven Makelaars. Petra really thought along with us from the very beginning and informed us well about the area, the situation on the housing market etc. Petra and her colleague Laura were always easily accessible by phone and email. When we wanted to move forward the delivery date, cooperation was immediately provided and an final inspection was scheduled on (very) short notice. Being able to buy a home in Hengelo through Van Werkhoven Makelaars. The viewings were professionally organized and they were well informed about all matters involved in and around the property. I don't really understand the negative reviews because we had an absolutely TOP experience with this real estate agent and in particular Petra. She took my deceased mother’s house for sale and sold it within a short time at a great price. We are very satisfied with the way things were done and the further handling of the sale. Studio used as temporary living space, fully furnished including refrigerator and use of a washing machine and all the necessities you need to get through the day.

Due to work in Twente, I rented a studio for a long time on the Wierdensestraat in Almelo. It turned out very well. The layout of the studio is perfect, everything you need is there. If something happens, it's quickly resolved by TwentsVast. Emails and phone calls are responded to very quickly and correctly. Your privacy is respected; if something needs to happen in your studio, permission is always requested. The 'check out' process was also fine. Should I ever have to be in Twente for work again for a longer period of time, I will definitely rent here again.

Very satisfied with the treatment we received from Anne. She was very attentive, clear and helpful in solving any maintenance problems in the apartment and answered our questions about the service. The apartment that we rented was very well located and the furniture was in very good condition.

I stayed in one of the studios for a total of 6 months due to an internship in the vicinity of Almelo and I was very satisfied! The room is large enough for one person, is modernly furnished, has a great location, and is fully equipped. It's perfect if you need a place to stay for a few months or if you need time to find something for the long term. Moreover, it is located right above a gym, which was a big plus for me. I also met great people while living there, who eventually became good friends of mine. If I had any small problems, communication wasn't a problem at all. Carolijn was always very friendly and quick to help. I would absolutely recommend this place! ☺️ As someone who came to Almelo and didn't know anyone, I can say that Twents Vast B.V. made my start very easy.

Excellent service, always good communication and a quick response to emails. All in all, Anne gave us the best experience during our rental through them. The apartment we used was excellent, everything was clean and functioned perfectly. They really make sure that everything is well maintained. Praise!

If you want to stay somewhere for a few months, this is the place I recommend. It was very convenient and also very comfortable for me. Small studio, but if you're alone, this is exactly what you need. In my time, I had no problems anywhere.

No complaints. I stayed for 6 months due to an internship near Almelo. The company handles everything very professionally, the rooms are well furnished, the location is really strategic, the facilities are good, and so on. The rent itself is reasonably affordable, but considering the size of the room, I think it's a reasonable fair price for the Netherlands. Also a big plus is the communication and transparency. All in all, a pleasure to work with!

Friendly staff, but it was very dirty when we entered the house and when we reported something was broken; the excuse was that it's an old house. The toilet was blocked for a few weeks before they repaired it and we had a very old washing machine which also had some problems, it took a long time before we got help and had it replaced.

I only have good things to say about this agency! I rented a two-bedroom apartment in Enschede for 26 months while working in Almelo and never had any problems. Once, there was an issue with the key to the front door, and it was quickly and efficiently resolved after I contacted them. Just as a reminder: inspections with advance notice are also carried out, but this too went well. During my time living at the address, I had several roommates, and it was also no problem to modify the rental agreement upon request. All in all, I was happy with the service provided.

We rented a studio from TwentsVast in Almelo for about a year. It was a beautiful, compact, fully furnished place. During our stay, we received all the necessary help from Carlijn & Anne. The check-in and check-out process went smoothly. If you really clean the studio when you move out, they will not charge any costs. In our case, we received the entire deposit amount. The only disappointment with the Studio was that it did not have a building/apartment bell. As a result, we missed many package deliveries. Apart from this small problem, we had a good experience and I would highly recommend them.
