Unfortunately, I have had a particularly negative experience with Van der Laan Makelaardij. In a serious situation where a property became completely uninhabitable due to water damage, hardly any action was taken by this real estate agent. Despite multiple attempts at contact via email and telephone, no response was received. Only one night of hotel accommodation was offered, after which all further responsibility was avoided. What makes the situation even more distressing is that it involved a family with a minor child and a pet, who literally ended up on the street. Structural problems such as deferred maintenance, lack of heating, and incorrect energy meters have been known to the real estate agent for some time, but never adequately addressed. The communication was not only deficient but also unprofessional. Phone calls were conducted in a threatening and intimidating tone, without any willingness to cooperate or offer solutions. I unfortunately cannot recommend this real estate agent and hope that they seriously review their procedures to prevent similar situations in the future. For now, my experience with Van der Laan Makelaardij is disappointing and frustrating.

Understand that there are many negative messages but that is attributable to the government. Van der Laan real estate has proven to be a good partner for us.

They are a bunch of scammers, they ask for a lot of money for VVV maintenance but do nothing. If you call them, they can only speak rudely and if you ask for someone who did the lining, you get a teenager who thinks he is Jesus. It's just a group of bookkeepers there who only go for the money and don't do it for your VVV, just money in.

Had a good experience with this real estate agent. I can't relate to the reviews below. There are (always) points for improvement, hence the 4 stars. One of those would be that the rental property was not handed over clean to me. I know they are working on this so there is a good chance it will be different from now on. Especially dealing with Pimmie was pleasant, so he deserves 5 stars in my opinion.

Really unreliable people. They charge high contract costs and they steal your deposit. After repeatedly requesting the return of the deposit, there suddenly wasn't a history of financial transactions available anymore... the deposit had vanished without a trace!

Van der Laan real estate acted as an intermediary for the rental of a property. Upon starting, 150 euros in contract costs had to be paid (which, to my knowledge, is prohibited by law. The owner of the property who hires the real estate agent already pays a fee for drawing up contracts). Afterwards, upon selling the property to another party, it was agreed that the deposit would be transferred to the new owner. Proof of transaction of the deposit to the new owner could no longer be found at Van der Laan real estate, but they stated that the deposit had been transferred. Later, it turned out that no money had been received by the new party. After repeatedly requesting the money, it was eventually transferred after a number of weeks. In short, do not accept contract costs. And keep everything under close observation and check! Disappointed with the actions of Van der Laan Makelaardij. I would have liked to see things differently.

Taxatie laten maken voor aankoop woning. Prima contact en de taxatie is snel en kundig uitgevoerd. Rapport werd sneller aangeleverd dan afgesproken.

Pararius could be better named “Only for Students”. The platform is completely meaningless for regular housing seekers. Day in and day out, only houses with the note 'only for students' are put online. Even with a paid Pararius Plus account, you get no fair chance and not a bit of transparency. The only time I got a viewing was for a house that literally was about to collapse. This platform gives the impression of arbitrariness and unequal treatment. Absolutely disappointing and certainly not a recommendation for anyone seriously looking for a decent home.

We are not emailed or called, so we call and email ourselves. Nothing is clear and no one can help us. Then a week later, we see that it's been rented out. Voor David heb ik geen woorden, wat een vreselijk, schaamteloos en harteloos persoon is hij. Hij heeft me eruit gezet toen ik 9 maanden zwanger was, omdat het huis te koop stond, maar tot op de dag van vandaag heeft niemand het gekocht. Maar hij is slechts een verhuurder, hij heeft niets te maken met het werk van het makelaarskantoor. Alles wat van het kantoor afhangt, wordt altijd snel en nauwkeurig afgehandeld. I was looking for an apartment for months and attended countless viewings, without success, before I finally engaged City Rental. I placed my search online via their website and a few days later received a message with photos and videos of an apartment that met my wishes and budget. Within 48 hours they arranged a viewing and I signed the contract. They are not really a real estate agent, since they only lay the contacts between landlords and potential tenants, but they do take care of the apartment inspection and key handover. Emy is very friendly and has helped me excellently with scheduling the registration. All in all a good experience with their services.
