I've had very bad experiences with the sale of my house. Everything, in my opinion, was based on the wishes of the notary, and as a result, the real estate agent exceeded all legal standards, which cost us a lot of money. The legal deadline within 6 weeks of transfer after the preliminary purchase agreement was not adhered to, but rather 5 weeks later both the real estate agent and the notary lied to us. The wishes of the buyer and seller were completely disrespected. I have learned from this ..I will never sell my house through a real estate agent again. Put it on Marktplaats (Marketplace), much better.

I have had a particularly bad experience with Van Overbeek Makelaars in Purmerend. On several occasions, I tried to contact them by phone to inquire about viewing a property. Each time I was told that the broker would call me back, but this never happened. In addition, I sent two messages via Funda to schedule a viewing, and there was no response to those either. For me, these are enough reasons not to sell my own properties through them in the future. If this is how they treat potential buyers, I can't imagine that they would bother to really close the best deal for sellers. It feels like it’s all about making money as quickly and easily as possible, without any serious effort or customer focus.

Task taken over by this broker because our purchasing broker was also the selling broker of our house. Quick action was needed and that is what happened. Friendly communication, however after signing the purchase contract there has been hardly any contact, also regarding (too low) appraisal no communication. Costs 3000 euros I find very high for the time and effort it cost.

Despite their initial impression, they did not deliver the promised proposal within the agreed timeframe – without any feedback or explanation. I even waited longer for a response, but it never came. Although unforeseen circumstances may have caused the delay, good communication and professionalism are crucial. Unfortunately, this lack of follow-up resulted in me choosing another real estate agency. Based on this experience, I would not recommend them.
