We bought a house in early March 2021 that was sold through Gilde Makelaars. We did not have a buyer's agent. Viewing a house with Gilde Makelaars is a breath of fresh air after all the viewings of houses with larger (Leiden) sales agents. With realtor Sylvia van Oostrum, we were given the time to do several extensive viewings and she also thought along with our living wishes. She was transparent about the seller's position and desires. This gave us a reliable picture of the house during the viewing. Sylvia has a pleasant, direct communication style. Gilde Makelaars knows how to take action, while maintaining quality and critically reviewing the entire procedure. The speed (the key handover of the house was within 3 weeks after the first viewing) did not come at the expense of quality. She even remained open to additional questions after the transfer. A pleasant aspect here is Sylvia's accessibility outside office hours via Whatsapp. We wholeheartedly recommend this local real estate agency and therefore Sylvia and Eva to everyone, especially in this current tight housing market. All in all, a personal, transparent, direct, accessible communication from a locally-oriented realtor with a quick handover of quality.
