Poor service

We would gladly like to share our experience and opinion regarding the purchase of a house that was handled through Panne van Soest real estate agency. For the record, we are happily living in the new house which we obtained at a good price. Unfortunately, I must conclude that this brokerage seems to be cooperating with obvious games played by the seller. This is due to, among other things, not mentioning hidden defects that were undoubtedly known. Such as several significant leaks that extend to the first floor, or leaking double-glazed windows (e.g. 6m2) where the blinds are carefully kept closed and furniture is placed in front of them so that the chance of them being noticed becomes smaller. After we finally managed to schedule an appointment after 2.5 weeks, it could really only be for a maximum of 30 minutes for a house worth 8 million that was on the market for 9 months. As if by chance, other buyers were just standing at the door ;-). Furthermore, the house was left in a shameful state (I will omit the details) and with this brokerage it seemed as if someone’s nose was bleeding. We reported the outstanding defects and findings to Panne van der Soest real estate agency. Where you expect a professional and proactive attitude that at least wants to understand the issue, we unfortunately received a bureaucratic response. My advice to house buyers whose purchases go through Panne van Soest is: be careful and a warned person is worth two. Unfortunately, this tarnishes the image of good brokers who professionally practice their trade.
