I met him when I was visiting a house myself. He was the sales agent of that house. Although he represented his client who wanted to sell the house for as high a price as possible, he gave me not only a professional explanation but also his honest opinion and advice. After two years, when I decided to start my house hunting again - but this time via a purchase agent - and looking for a reliable purchase agent, I remembered him immediately. There is no doubt possible that he is a very good agent, honest, enthusiastic, transparent, patient, always willing to put on my shoes, and moreover his knowledge and professionalism are reliable. It seems that other agents in Leiden feel the same about him. Moreover, his colleagues are helpful and professional. He took a long time to explain to me how the entire process works, how the market is developing and what my expectations were. And every time I sent him a message, he gave me clear advice but also left me space to think for myself. He was available until late in the evening if it was urgent. I can definitely recommend him and his colleagues to my friends. Buying a house is a major event in my life and I am very happy that I was able to work with him.

I was very well assisted by brokers Mark and Evelien from Hoekstra and van Eck. My house sold within a month to my satisfaction. A great performance in these current turbulent times. Much is taken out of your hands and regular feedback is given after viewings or offers. If it ever becomes necessary again, which I hope not, I will definitely have Mark and/or Evelien on the job.

We zijn net verhuisd naar ons allereerste huis, dat we mede dankzij Mark hebben gekocht. Ik kan Mark absoluut aanbevelen als aankoopmakelaar. Hij is zeer informatief, altijd bereikbaar, communiceert effectief en geeft uitstekend advies. Dankzij hem hebben we het huis gekocht met ons allereerste bod. En dat is niet omdat hij ons adviseerde om te hoog te bieden; integendeel, hij raadde ons vaak aan om iets lager te bieden dan we aanvankelijk dachten, hoewel een hoger bod onze kans en zijn kans op commissie zeker zou vergroten. We zijn ontzettend blij met het hele proces met Mark en ook met de hulp van het kantoor. Een echte aanrader.

Due to circumstances, we were assigned a different real estate agent (Evelien), and thanks to quick action, the sales process went well. In an overheated market, this agent doesn't follow the hype and wasn't led astray. The contact was very good; we could email, call, and WhatsApp at any time, and received responses almost immediately. Our house was sold at a good value!
