🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮never again, but really never again Domica here especially the branch in Venlo. This so-called 'manager' of the Venlo branch does not listen to the interests of the tenants but rather to the interests of the landlord. Because that's where part of his salary comes from. First acquaintance end 2015 and immediately € 500,- intermediary costs asked. This is against the law. But because we had to move out of the old apartment I did not have much choice. Once signed we could move in at the beginning of 2016. During the handover the defects of the kitchen were made known. Until my departure end June 2025 nothing was done about it. Why not? Because the landlord was not informed. Mold in bathroom and living room. Immediately fingers are pointed that we did not ventilate properly. 9 years of having to live with mold. A completely useless ventilation was installed and the ceiling was sealed. But the problem kept coming back. Again this nice gentleman was approached but he made nothing of it. When I finally could terminate the rent this year I had informed the landlord that I did not want to do a handover with this so-called manager. The landlord agreed to this. When we viewed the apartment together the landlord came to the conclusion that he had not been informed about all the problems in the apartment. This conclusion I had already reached years earlier but at that time the landlord unfortunately did nothing about it. Ultimately he understood me and said that he regrets this. But now he is letting the apartment be sold by the same 'manager'. I hope that the new owners do not go into the mist. But I think the mold problem will come back. So people what you do is up to yourselves. But for me no more Domica.

Total disappointment. We rented in Venlo. We didn't get our deposit back, and it’s been more than a year ago. We left the apartment spotless. We even repainted and cleaned everything, even better than it was when we got it. They agreed that everything was fine but then refused to return the deposit. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

I found my previous apartment through Domica. They charged 425 euros for an inspection report. However, this amounted to nothing; photos were taken and an energy supplier was recommended (Domica may have also profited from this). Fortunately, the ACM raised the alarm, and I got my money back.

This has long since disappeared, why aren't such places removed? I have wasted my time.

Incorrectly charging brokerage fees. Ignoring all contact

They ask for contract costs, communication is terrible and nothing is done about problems but you still pay service fees, very weird. Writing your own reviews to get a higher score and then also complimenting yourself is really pathetic Nadia.

I rented a property through them. Be careful with this office and especially with the owner - they are rude, dishonest and only want your money, regardless of whether it is legal or not - almost criminal. Our experience: Unfortunately too much money transferred. I had an automatic deduction for a whole month, but only needed to pay 2/3 of the last month's rent, as the contract expired on the 20th. I asked them to refund it. They just keep the money and become extremely rude when you remind them. Of course, they also just keep the deposit without any explanation. You do an inspection and they say verbally that everything is in order - they just keep the deposit and when you ask, they still give no explanation/justification - instead, they become extremely rude. I can hardly believe that this experience is real, but it is. I strongly advise against renting through them or doing business with them!!!

We went to the rental company because they weren't responding to the email we initially sent. When we arrived there, they were rude and didn't seem willing to help us at all. They told us that the apartment we wanted more information about was already rented. Although, up until now, it still appeared available on their website. The same applied to several other accommodations we inquired about. We paid a €40 registration fee and were told that we had to fill in the rest of our details via an email they would send immediately. When we received the email (much later), we were asked to pay the registration fee again! It seems like the people who are supposed to help you are fooling us as customers.

Very bad and even bordering on fraud. Never do it again please.

Too expensive studios

Everything went very quickly and smoothly. Friendly and knowledgeable staff who are happy to take the time for you.

Very bad experience with Domica. I would not recommend them. Some examples of my experience: - The stated rental price did not include mandatory additional purchases such as a parking space. - They charged me mediation fees/administrative costs (which is illegal in the Netherlands) = Eventually, I got my money back through a small legal dispute. - I had two major leaks. One of them caused damage to my belongings. It took more than half a year (!!) for this to be resolved. - They almost never call or email back. I usually had to email and call multiple times to get information. - To do laundry, you have to buy washing tokens at 2.50 euros each (which was not mentioned in the advertisement).

We rented a house for 1.5 years near the gasthuizen in Nuenen through Domica. Before starting, they are very pushy when it comes to deciding whether you want to rent the house or not. If you have decided that you do, they are very pushy about paying their fee, without you having seen the rental contract. Once you've paid, they still make a lot of effort to collect the deposit and the rent, but after that, they are nowhere to be found. Upon delivery, we had to sign an inspection form: you don’t get a blueprint, and afterwards you have no leg to stand on. This also applies to the final inspection: no copy of the form was received. In our case, the owner decided to bring a laundry list of items in costs, which we did not receive at the beginning, even though they were already noted or simply missing or broken when we moved into the house. Fortunately, we had already reported most issues to property management company Vivenda via email at the start of the rental period. However, when the owner continued searching for a reason not to return the deposit, he had the entire attic re-covered with expensive flooring because he had seen a scratch on the flooring… We initially did not receive a photo of this, but 4 months later after threats and having called them many times weekly, we did. It was barely visible, and it was also not noted by Domica. So.. we could wave goodbye to our deposit... we only received a few hundred euros back on a €1300 deposit. Scandalous.

The absolute worst, worst real estate agency ever! Their behavior is downright bad and rude and their service is zero. They care only about money and not the well-being of tenants. First they claim responsibility for problems in the rental house, then suddenly they are nowhere to be found. The landlord was hard to reach and all they asked me was to sign some damn paper and give more money. I got mentally and physically sick from their irresponsibility and I will never forget this.

Very misleading information on their own website and other websites. In addition, they try to put pressure on potential tenants with their procedure.

I registered with Domica to find a rental property. I paid 40 euros to be able to schedule viewings, but that never happened. I tried to schedule viewings or get information about different properties. They never responded and gave no feedback whatsoever. I asked them why exactly I paid those 40 euros, what kind of subscription it was, and whether there was a renewal schedule (nowhere to be found on their website). They didn't respond to that either. So basically, you just pay 40 euros for nothing. By the time you get an answer to a question about a property or finally schedule a viewing, other real estate agents have already contacted you and suggested a more human approach. Either they don’t have enough resources to support their business, or it's pure fraud. Stay away. UPDATE: They not only didn't respond to the explanation above, but they also take revenge if you are not satisfied with their service. They deleted my account (for which I paid) without any further notice. This is their level of professionalism. You have been warned...

The 1 star mentioned above is even too much. They do NOT honor appointments, and have very small print, only for their small print they get 10 stars, because they've legally nailed that down, regardless of the agreements you make with them and also put on the contract. Response to your response: It’s a pity you twist things around, but I wouldn’t have expected anything different. Discussing after sending collection letters is not possible as far as I am concerned, let you be happy with that. First send a reminder and then only a bill says enough about your organization. To future customers I would say take a look at the program radar or stegeman

Edited: Even when I had a problem with another franchisee, Domica Eindhoven reacted very quickly and helped me reach the people I was looking for. Great impression!

Familiar renting and then you get a landlord who never seems to be reachable. Doesn't respond to emails and doesn't return calls. And on top of that, the apartment wasn't in order at all!

I am satisfied with the speed and ease with which Domica helped me with my current home. But that's also where it ends. My home has hidden defects, of which I was not informed during the viewing and the impression I get from my fellow tenants is that the mediator is mainly concerned with collecting brokerage fees as often as possible and would therefore prefer that I (or my neighbors) move as often as possible. If you want to live somewhere for a long time, I would doubt whether Domica is the right party for you. Furthermore, I would like to note that I have received virtually no response from Domica regarding my report of noise nuisance, while they certainly have good ties with the landlord and therefore could certainly have made some effort.
