I bought a house in Almere centrum through Mike. Initially, I hadn't met Mike personally; my friend had the contact with him. Based on the trust that Mike was a good real estate agent, I agreed to the purchase. Still, you always want to see a house yourself before actually signing, but Mike didn't seem to think that was a good idea. He indicated that there was a chance I wouldn’t want the house then, which I understand, but it is precisely that viewing that gives buyers the time and space to make an informed decision. Ultimately, I only got the chance to view the house after some pressure and, after the deadline for withdrawing from the house. During the appointment, Mike was 10 minutes late and left 10 minutes earlier, while our appointment was only 30 minutes long. In addition, he thought it strange that the toilet in the house I had just bought was used, which I found very inappropriate. But the biggest problem were the hidden defects in the house. Mike did not inform us about important matters that later caused a lot of extra costs. It felt as if we were being misled, which was a considerable disappointment for us. I am enormously disappointed in Mike and his way of working. He behaved like an amateur, and I advise everyone to look further for a professional real estate agent.

If it's in their interest, they will push you until you’ve had enough, so I let them come for viewings before handing over the keys. But if I have requests, they don’t respond or do it a week later, they didn’t inform me of the conversations they had with the landlord, and at one point the agent stopped answering my calls. Avoid them if possible.
