HousingNow and especially Maya Nirsoe are a typical case of once they can make more money from you, they give you attention and priority, but as soon as that money is earned, it stops. I have experienced two situations with Maya where she had a very unprofessional attitude in my opinion. Maya helped me rent out my property while I was staying in Colombia. During the conversations preceding becoming her client, she promised me that small incidents she could resolve for me within 10 minutes, I could always call her. Ultimately, when I asked her a question about needing a certificate for copying an extra key to the front door, I was reminded of not having a maintenance contract. While this question could be answered in minutes after much fuss. The second situation where I am left with a feeling of dissatisfaction concerned my initial request to Maya to still help me find a second tenant. Prior to this question, we thought we had discussed the disagreement of conflict 1. Maya wanted to help. She would obviously be able to earn money again here. But she indicated that she was going on vacation a week after my request for her help. When I asked if someone could take over the work of finding a new tenant, she said I should wait for her return. In other words, nothing would happen during her vacation. In the meantime, I received a lot of information about how the Dutch government is trying to make renting out homes increasingly unattractive. On the first working day after Maya's vacation, I informed her that I wanted to cancel the service. Immediately she started accusing me of all sorts of things. She stated that she had invested time and money in me during her vacation. Something that was never agreed upon and which I explicitly asked for. After the possibility of making money disappeared, the rental of my property still had to be settled by Maya. Maya walked through my house during a final inspection. Indicated that everything was fine. And only forgot to report a leak from the sink, missing bottle rack in the refrigerator, broken door hinge of the meter cupboard, non-working locks in the bedroom, broken mirrors of a shoe cabinet and scratches and pits in the white glossy floor. Where she should have stood up for the interests of her “client”, she failed to do so. For the sale of my property, I asked Maya on 05-10-2023 for a signed version of the old rental agreement. I discovered that it was missing from my records. Her reaction was that I had already received it. Nevertheless, she was kind enough to look for it again and email it back to me within 14 days. Ultimately, I received this rental agreement in my mailbox on 22-05-2023. It took her 12 days to send a document that she already had digitally… In addition to all these negative experiences, Maya does not hesitate to shout at you on the phone. Very professional and customer friendly. Remarkably, there are plenty of positive reviews written by people with Hindustani names. Perhaps only they can be treated with decency and reasonableness.
