Very negative experience with Pouwerhuis and realtor Lisette Pouwer! Our experience with Pouwerhuis, in particular with realtor Lisette Pouwer, is extremely bad and we strongly advise everyone not to do business with her. During the purchasing process, Lisette made commitments and agreements that were subsequently withdrawn completely without warning or consultation. This has led to great uncertainty and direct consequences for our living situation. Instead of taking responsibility, the consequences of her actions were passed on to us. An apology for causing this situation never came. What is even more serious: Lisette shares information with other buyers during the process about other bids, discussed matters during viewings, and even personal preferences of other buyers. This is extremely unprofessional and in conflict with the confidentiality you would expect from a realtor. As well as directly conflicting with the oath that a realtor should uphold. In addition, she makes gross mistakes in official documents and clearly works carelessly and unorganized. The communication was chaotic, the guidance absent, and agreements made proved worthless. As a buyer, you never feel taken seriously or somewhat involved in the process. Every question is quickly and easily dismissed and often, afterwards, answered incorrectly. What should have been a positive experience, buying a home, has become a frustrating, stressful, and unsafe situation thanks to Pouwerhuis and Lisette Pouwer. We will never do business with her again and strongly advise others to consider doing the same.

Your claim about purchase brokerage is also not based on truth. It was clearly stated that the region where I wanted to buy a house was too far for mediation. That’s why I hired a purchasing agent elsewhere! It's the way of working and communication with both clients and your employees, which you notably publicly accused in another review. After signing the service agreement, I contacted the broker (my first point of contact), indicating that I was abandoning the sale due to circumstances. This was a few days after signing. She told me with full understanding that she would stop everything and withdraw the assignment, and I could contact her again in the future when I needed help selling. Unfortunately (my lesson!) this wasn't done via email, so they sent an invoice of €1000,- more than half a year LATER for withdrawing the assignment. NOTE: there was no surveyor nor photographer involved. IN SHORT; nothing was executed. Reminded her several times via WhatsApp and phone about our conversation from half a year ago, but this lady kept giving politically correct answers that dodged my question. Please take the bad reviews and accusations you read here seriously! Yes, money needs to come into a company, but this is not a way of doing business to treat your customers inhumanely, not keep your word, and deny everything! The broker (my contact person) no longer works at Makelaarshuys either, but still remembered our agreement very well! I have now paid the amount of €1000,-. Money is energy that you are supposed to earn, fairly. And you haven't earned this amount. So it won’t stay in your possession for long. I believe in honesty and hope that people who read this will think very carefully about whether they even want to do business with them. There are plenty of brokers on the market, get well informed and read reviews carefully and don't stop at the first 3! I have bought and sold several properties before and have never had such an experience with any broker!
