02 Mar 2025My husband and I had the pleasure of working with Lisette Van Tilburg as our realtor for our recent home purchase. We came to Lisette with a difficult situation: we needed a house as quickly as possible because our lease was expiring in two months and we would have nowhere to go afterwards. Lisette was honest with us that it would be quite a job, especially given the crazy housing market in Amsterdam, but ultimately she more than delivered. Throughout the entire home buying process, she skillfully guided us through viewings, assessing properties, and eventually making an offer and closing. As first-time homebuyers and also expats, we had many questions and Lisette was always happy and willing to answer. We especially appreciated her quick communication. We also felt that she always had our best interests at heart and that she was never pressured to make offers that didn't make sense for us. Ultimately, our initial offer was accepted after a bit of back and forth with the seller and we closed on the perfect starter home for us in just under 7 weeks from our first conversation with Lisette DESPITE a hiccup with our mortgage lender, through which she also navigated as a true professional. For what it's worth: our house was also valued higher than what we paid, so the fact that we had instant equity gave us the feeling that we scored big. We are still in disbelief that she could realize this home purchase so quickly and are so grateful for her expertise which guided us along the way. Highly recommend!

The strange thing is that after two weeks they still needed additional information. It concerned two house numbers, which they had also merged into 1 report. As far as we are concerned, no recommendation for this company.

20 May 2025Very disappointing experience with the sales procedure of Kalenberg Noord 30 in Ossenzijl. As one of the last two serious bidders, I unfortunately had to conclude that there is no equal treatment, transparency or professional handling at this office. My increased bid of €452,000 without a financing condition, submitted via email (as permitted in their own sales instructions), was only acknowledged after I had to repeatedly inquire. To date, no evidence has been provided that this bid was actually passed on to both sellers. Nor was a bid log provided, while the house has since been withdrawn from sale. In addition, I received incorrect information about the motives of the sellers (“the brother didn’t want to sell”), whereas later it turned out that the daughter – who was notably the client of the office and co-owner – had taken over her brother's share. This double role was never reported, which points to a serious conflict of interest. During the sales process, essential documents were missing, such as a complete floor plan and a completed questionnaire. This meant that there was no equal provision of information compared to other bidders, such as the daughter, brother and neighbors who also expressed interest. My request to make direct contact with the sellers (now that the office is no longer playing an active role) has been repeatedly refused, thereby blocking my remaining chance of purchase. This experience demonstrates a lack of due diligence, transparency and professional decency. A real estate agent should mediate objectively, not entangle interests and withhold information.

It's a shame you think you need to express your dissatisfaction in this way. But for the sake of clarity; 'your story' does not align with reality. Through our office, no sale was concluded because the seller ultimately did not want to sell the property. We received compliments from several other bidders, whom we also had to disappoint, regarding the correct and open communication about the unusual course of events concerning the offered property.

The real estate agent knew the apartment building, the HOA etc. He actually arranged everything for us with minimal work for us. The photos, energy label, measurement etc., all were taken care of without any effort on our part. The realtor uses move which I personally found very nice. The appointments are listed and the report of each appointment; furthermore, we also maintained excellent telephone contact.

That wasn't easy because it is a holiday home and those aren't easily disposed of. But Roozeboom real estate remained tirelessly committed to it and we experienced them as extremely pleasant and trustworthy. I would hire them again without hesitation. 12 Feb 2025Do not do business with them... Roozeboom was recently hired as the selling agent in the sale of a house. They were informed from the beginning about a dangerous situation around that house, but they completely dismissed it. Subsequently, they knowingly misled the buyer about that situation. After the buyer complained about this (after the purchase), the response was 'you have a duty to investigate'. Because everything about this is in writing, Roozeboom has made herself and especially her client (the seller) legally vulnerable.
