This is not a businessperson! I had requested an inspection with Regio Makelaars Soest, but then received a response from Domica Makelaar Amersfoort. Apparently that is one company, but this was nowhere clearly communicated. My experience with Domica was utterly disappointing and unprofessional. Two times I tried to ask a question by phone about the time of the appointment, but both times I was curtly dismissed with: 'Just do it in email, I don't have time, I need to hang up.' This kind of unprofessional behavior is unacceptable for a real estate agent and gave me the feeling that my questions were seen as a burden. I had an appointment scheduled for 9:30 AM, but due to circumstances I asked if the inspection could take place a few hours later on the same day. The answer was simply: 'No, then it stops.' Apparently there is no room for flexibility or customer friendliness and you have to fully adapt to his schedule in short notice. After this experience I sent a request to cancel my application, because I do not want to be treated in an unfriendly manner. The response was: 'OK, I'll take you out of the appointment. You must understand that we receive hundreds of emails and phone calls per day.' If the office has so much work pressure that customer service suffers, I would say: shut your doors or be honest that you are not able to help customers adequately. I can absolutely not recommend this real estate agent as a buyer's, seller's or lettings agent. The treatment feels like you're asking for something for free or like you are a stranger, instead of a valued customer. This is not the way to do business!
