Hele goeie ervaring met Fred de Bas! We hebben ons droomhuisje in Voorthuizen kunnen kopen, waarvan we niet verwacht hadden dat we daar kans op maakten😋. Fred is betrouwbaar, communiceert duidelijk en komt zijn afspraken altijd na. Ik voelde me gedurende het hele proces gesteund en serieus genomen. He encouraged us to offer way too much for a house. He clearly knew that the appraisal value wasn't that high and that there was still a lot of work to be done, but he still advised us to make an outrageously high offer. Unfortunately, we trusted his judgment, assuming that he had made an accurate estimate. In the end, our offer turned out to be much higher than that of the others, while he remained vague about the details. In hindsight, we paid significantly more than we should have – something we never expected from a real estate agent supposed to look out for your interests.

Unfortunately, we followed this advice because we assumed he had assessed it correctly. Our offer turned out to be indeed far too high compared to the other bids, although he remained very mysterious about it. We ended up paying far too much afterwards, while you expect a buyer's agent to protect you from exactly that.

I am writing this review from the sunny garden of my new little house. After searching for a while myself and always just missing out, I enlisted the help of Fred de Bas. With the second property, we hit the jackpot right away. Fred advised me very well on the bid to make, which ultimately meant I offered twenty thousand euros less than I had planned.
