In particular, we would like to thank Sjoerd, with whom we had the intake interview and who also took care of the viewings. Also to Timo, who from their office always quickly and clearly answered all our questions via email and telephone. We have two young children and didn't want to be at home during the sale. Therefore, we were kept informed from the other side of the world and our house was sold during our vacation, without the stress you would normally expect. Sjoerd and Willeke were enormously helpful in viewing all the houses, providing tips and advice on making an offer. Throughout the entire search, they have been very empathetic and involved. They stood ready for us at all times, together with Timo and Matthijs, to answer our questions, however big or small! From the first moment on, we as a family had full confidence in this office and that proved to be justified. The property had to be sold as a result of the owner's dementia and unfortunately passed away before the final transfer at the notary's office. After listing on Funda, the house sold in 13 days. In the meantime, everything was arranged at high speed (from an interior stylist to the photos, placing a for sale sign and creating the brochure. The marketing package was a nice addition and with good tips, the house was restyled a bit, which certainly improved the presentation. In the follow up, I do expect more contact and when the reconsideration period expired, I would have expected a moment of contact to 'celebrate' the final sale. Otherwise, a good real estate agent with corresponding back office.

The photographer was skilled and took beautiful photos. It took 1 week before we received the brochure. We did have to chase it up ourselves to get the property listed on Funda on the day we chose and were advised (negative point). Just before the property went live on Funda, the selling price was only determined, which in our opinion could have happened a bit earlier. We received a clear report from each viewing. The bidding process was exciting but we still got a good offer. All in all, a good real estate agent.

28 Jul 2025I had to think about this for a long time but still wanted to share it. I had a viewing for a house in Kattenbroek a few months ago, which was a pleasant experience in itself. It was just a bidding sale that, as far as I know, would close on Friday or Monday around 12 o'clock. My purchasing broker then submitted our bid a few minutes before the deadline. Then we were called that evening with the story that the property had actually been promised to someone else by the sellers but that I still had the highest bid. Then came the question of whether my offer was also without a financing condition. I indicated that it was. Eventually, however, the house went to the party to whom it had initially been promised by the seller. My suspicion, and why this feels bitter to me, is that my bid was passed on to the initial party and they got another chance to match it so that the sellers could get an even better deal and also keep their promises. Otherwise, I can't explain such a phone call. Furthermore, the highest bid is simply the highest bid when it works with registration. If the latter is not correct and there is a completely different explanation, I would like to hear it here, but I don’t think I can close this properly because it has been a very disappointing experience...

28 Mar 2025We found out in early January that our rental contract would not be extended. So there was quite some urgency behind our house search. During a viewing, we met Wilco from 9+ Makelaars. We found him very knowledgeable and someone with a lot of experience. Therefore, we quickly scheduled an appointment ourselves with 9+ Makelaars. After this conversation, we were very enthusiastic and we had great confidence that we could find a house on time. At one point, we came across our dream apartment. 9+ took immediate action and gave us advice on the bid we should make. Afterwards, Wilco conducted the negotiations for us, and much faster than planned, we already heard that our offer was accepted. We were of course incredibly happy about that. 9+ continued to guide us well during the purchase process. Since this is our first home purchase, we had no experience with how everything worked. We could always turn to 9+ Makelaars with our questions. That was a very pleasant experience. January 29th we had our first meeting with 9+ Makelaars, and 21 days later we already signed our purchase contract. For us, this is a real estate agent that we highly recommend if you want to have the purchase of a house well organized!

He knew very well that the appraisal value wasn't that high and that a lot still needed to be done, but he still gave us advice that was far too high. Unfortunately, we followed this advice because we assumed he had assessed it correctly. Our offer turned out to be indeed far too high compared to the other bids, although he remained very mysterious about it. We ended up paying far too much afterwards, while you expect a buyer's agent to protect you from exactly that.

26 May 2025I am writing this review from the sunny garden of my new little house. After searching for a while myself and always just missing out, I enlisted the help of Fred de Bas. With the second property, we hit the jackpot right away. Fred advised me very well on the bid to make, which ultimately meant I offered twenty thousand euros less than I had planned. Because the completion of the new house was scheduled in the short term and I felt good about Fred, I also asked him to sell my apartment. I have not regretted this moment. Fred is punctual, keeps appointments, is easily accessible, and responds quickly to questions. In addition, he had a good sales plan, good contacts with photographers and other real estate agents, and adjusts his plan quickly when the situation unexpectedly calls for it. Fred doesn't promise mountains of gold but creates realistic expectations, only to exceed them; the sale price of my apartment was higher than I dared to hope. With his professionalism, calmness, and good advice, he even managed to tame the control freak in me somewhat. I soon felt that I could rely on his expertise with peace of mind. Fred is happy to go the extra mile for his clients, he listens carefully to your wishes, wants to think along about everything, and no question is too much for him. I rarely take the time to write an extensive review, but I can recommend Fred de Bas to everyone.
