We werken sinds 2024 samen met Vasgoed Unie en huren sinds april 2026 een tweede woning van hen. Ze reageren altijd snel als er een probleem is met het appartement, de laatste keer zelfs op een zondag met een noodgeval. Ze reageerden direct en stuurden een specialist om de reparatie uit te voeren. Bij het uitchecken van de eerste woning was Vasgoed Unie, en met name Patricia, enorm behulpzaam. Ze zorgden ervoor dat we onze volledige borg terugkregen van de verhuurder, legden de feiten duidelijk uit en zorgden ervoor dat we eerlijk werden behandeld. Bij het huren van het nieuwe appartement werd gegarandeerd dat we pas huur hoeven te betalen zodra alle openstaande zaken zijn gerepareerd en de woning klaar is om in te trekken. We kunnen hen van harte aanbevelen en zouden zonder aarzelen weer bij hen huren!

I had a very disappointing experience with this rental company. Although everything looks professional at first glance, the way in which tenant situations are handled in practice can be quite problematic. They will do everything to financially exploit you, especially if you are an expat. During my rental period (2020-2024), there was a clear lack of consistency between what was contractually agreed upon and how things were handled in practice. The communication was often unclear, and responsibilities that the rental company should have handled were sometimes shifted onto the tenants. They create unnecessary pressure and confusion, especially in situations such as contract termination and replacing the tenant. This led to avoidable stress (I experienced a lot of mental health issues due to dealing with them) and required legal help to resolve. All in all, I cannot recommend this rental company based on my experience.

As many other reviewers have already indicated, be very cautious with this real estate agency. They will try to take advantage of you if they get the chance and keep your security deposit in full. So be aware of what you are signing when you get involved with them and know your rights. In a Funda advertisement for a garage box, it was clearly written that they prefer you to send an email rather than call. So I sent an email with some questions, but to this day I have never heard from them. This was actually MONTHS ago. The advertisement on Funda has not changed anyway (Garages at Zeno van Citiumstraat in Almere). Seems like a very clear case of a scam. Update 11 dec 2025: After I posted this review and also immediately reported it to Funda, the advertisement has now suddenly been removed from Funda. Definitely a scam. BE WARNED their website (familieparkalmere) is still up so be warned.

Absolutely 1 star. Poor communication and a very strange course of events, where blatant abuse was made of the tight housing market. Some time ago I contacted Gustav Makelaars to potentially buy a new-build home, but to have a chance at this, you had to transfer 5 thousand euros in advance. If you then received an offer for a house and refused it, you would not get that money back. There were no details about the financial state of the organization to which you had to transfer this money, and there was also no official agreement. All in all, a very strange course of events. Ultimately, I was rushed to provide various details to see if I would be eligible for the property, and after arranging all of that, I was told that someone else was above me in the waiting list.

Sells tiny houses via Funda, creating the impression that a plot of land is included. However, this is his own address. That's simply how it has to be on Funda, according to the explanation. I don't think Funda is intended for that either.

The worst real estate agent to work with. She was rude, blunt, unhelpful, disorganized, made me pay extra fees without reason and set up my contracts incorrectly in English and Dutch. The real estate agent took no responsibility for his mistakes. SUPER unprofessional and rude behavior. Avoid this company/person. I have known the Roelfzema couple for 12 years now as fellow VvE members. Actually, contact has been somewhat more intensive in the last 2 years to wake up the dormant VvE. Only since today's VvE meeting do I think we are more on the same page with each other: the future of the VvE is paramount.

Business with a lack of adult attitude. Head in the sand and not daring to take responsibility for the regulations they have put in place. Context: 2 years rented, always paid rent on time neatly, did a lot of chores in the house to keep things neat. Poor landlord, he just thinks that you as his intermediary have everything under control ;)

Very bad company, I have been a tenant for 15 years, because of them I lost everything including my health. Advice to those parties working with that company. This company only thinks about their own wallet, it doesn't matter to them whether the parties lose something or long-term houses or shops remain vacant. They set very high demands for new tenants as if they don't want to rent them out when they are empty. This company has completely changed lately and is no longer trustworthy. They threaten you if you fall behind on a payment instead of finding a solution, they try to involve collection agencies. Rating -0-

Terrible! What a lack of attention. I left work at 15:20 for an inspection, paid for transportation, but no one showed up. I called and the realtor said: 'Oh yes, I forgot to call you this morning to let you know that the apartment is already rented out.'

Last year I rented from this company. When terminating the apartment, you receive a quick response and a clear explanation with the next steps. For my new home, I needed a landlord statement and they arranged it for me that same day. Thank you Daniëlle and Sabine for arranging this!

I am currently renting an apartment from this office, and my experience has been utterly frustrating. Legal rent according to Dutch law (Huurcommissieberekening): € 1.045,71/month Current rent price: € 1.815/month Despite the fact that they charge me more than € 770 per month for a 44 m² apartment in West Amsterdam, the office refuses to acknowledge the problem. When I asked a simple and legitimate question - what would be the legal rent price if they were to rent out this apartment today? - they completely ignored it in multiple e-mails. Instead of addressing the issue, they avoid the subject, refuse transparency and threaten legal action if I do not continue to pay too much. This is clearly bad faith and exploitation, especially towards expats who may not be fully aware of Dutch rental legislation. If you are looking for a fair and honest landlord, then stay far away from this office. Their practices are unfair and their lack of accountability is alarming.

Although I don't often write reviews, I want to share my disappointment with the service of the Amsterdam company. In the three years that I have been in my current home, I have constantly dealt with leaks. Every time I had to urge the Amsterdam company to investigate the leaks or repaint the yellow stains by constantly emailing and calling them. They seemed to be dealing with it very nonchalantly. Even if there is limited availability of craftsmen, you can at least communicate about this, and perhaps then you simply cannot handle the volume of rentals. And now, when I move out, the situation has even become dangerous with a leak through a lamp in the ceiling. A little over two weeks ago I reported this, but to date no one has come by or contacted me to make an appointment. Previously it was determined that the gutter needs to be replaced, but a sustainable solution is considered too costly. And that's not even mentioning how the technical service handled a gas leak with my gas heater, although an apology was made for that. Perhaps because this was a very dangerous situation. In addition, I am now experiencing problems with the rental department, now that I want to leave the house. I would like to resell some belongings, such as the dishwasher and the gas stove. Otherwise both the new resident and I have to move these items via a rented lift due to the narrow stairwell. 2.5 weeks ago I terminated the lease so you would think they would have more information about the subsequent process. Unfortunately, I am only told that I should assume that I have to hand it over empty, they don't yet know when they will start viewing from a list of candidates and I am not allowed to suggest any candidates myself. The unhelpfulness in this situation is very annoying. I sincerely hope for an improvement in the service, but it seems likely that this company is mainly out to make easy money and profits from indirect rental and does not take responsibility because of this. Houses of landlords are also neglected as a result, so they too have a bad deal in my opinion. This company has made living in my rented apartment less enjoyable and caused extra stress. That's why I am happy that I will no longer have anything to do with them once I leave the house. I moved in here with leaks and I’m leaving here with leaks. I sincerely hope that the new tenant receives better service and is not further neglected, and that there is no abuse of the shortage on the housing market. AS A RESPONSE TO THE RESPONSE, emails were not immediately answered, this was also admitted in subsequent emails that something had been overlooked. Sometimes I contacted them for 5 days in a row to get a response. I have called more often too, and that wasn't even registered, and furthermore the leaks lasted for months because nothing was done so mostly during the time I lived there it was with leaks. Furthermore, I was also readily available and people had to come up from my neighbor’s roof. If I don’t answer once and an unknown number calls, I can’t call back and no voicemail is left. I cannot be on standby 24/7 to answer my phone, I simply work 40 hours. Disappointing response where no responsibility is taken. I wanted to remove this eventually if things were handled properly but with this I'll just leave it.

Don't pay for their subscription. The number of reactions they display are incorrect. If a property has already been on the site before, the reactions count continues. So a newly posted property will immediately start counting from the number of reactions it had the last time it was there. It doesn't save anywhere, so these statistics are worthless.

Unfortunately, it is not possible to give a 0, but let me state this clearly. If you are looking for a website that helps you find accommodation, I recommend you choose any other website except Pararius. I once bought a subscription for just one month and canceled it at the end of the month, but somehow those scammers made me pay a kind of debt for the period in July at the end of the year (in December). I did not receive any notification for almost half a year that I had an outstanding amount to pay, which meant I not only paid for the subscription but also a fine (which was actually higher than the subscription itself). In short, if you are looking for a tool to make your life easier (when it comes to finding a place to stay) - DO NOT CHOOSE PARARIUS - their main goal is to SCAM YOU!

Very bad experience with this company. I rented an apartment in Valencia and they did not fulfill many promises. The toilet flush was never repaired, the intercom either, and the damage to the balcony, which supposedly would be repaired, was also not restored. And that while I paid €1400 in commission... As if that were not enough, they kept 40% of my deposit for a minor damage to the intercom. They said it had to be replaced, while it was working perfectly. I advise against renting through this company.

If I could give zero stars, I absolutely would. I rented an apartment in Valencia and from the moment I signed the lease agreement, everything was a disaster. I arrived at an apartment that was absolutely unacceptable: the mattress was covered in cat hair, the apartment wasn't cleaned after the previous tenants and it was almost completely unfurnished – only a bed and a dining table with chairs. There was no couch, no bedding, no pillows, no cooking utensils, no basics. The air conditioning was leaking, the heater wasn't working and the front door was covered in mold and leaked every time it rained. After dealing with all of this, they now refuse to return my deposit without a valid reason. And when I indicated that I would contact my lawyer about the matter, Victoria blocked me instead of solving the problem. This is extremely unprofessional behavior and says everything about how they treat their tenants. Stay far away. This company accepts no responsibility, offers poor quality accommodation and is unreachable once you challenge them.

Pararius could be better named “Only for Students”. The platform is completely meaningless for regular housing seekers. Day in and day out, only houses with the note 'only for students' are put online. Even with a paid Pararius Plus account, you get no fair chance and not a bit of transparency. The only time I got a viewing was for a house that literally was about to collapse. This platform gives the impression of arbitrariness and unequal treatment. Absolutely disappointing and certainly not a recommendation for anyone seriously looking for a decent home.

Looking for a room or a rental house? I really looked everything up but kept ending up at Pararius with the best and most current and complete offering! A relief for me after all the other websites I had visited. Keep up the good work!

Don't tell anything at all. It costs a lot and then you get the worst service in the Netherlands. My partner and I had responded to a house and we would hear something within 2 days. We are not emailed or called, so we call and email ourselves. Nothing is clear and no one can help us. Then a week later, we see that it's been rented out. So there you have it, that premium bullshit.

Multiple times contact was sought for information about an object they are offering for sale, but unfortunately never received a response. In this way you do not sell your object. What a disappointing experience.

I gave two stars because I want to be nice. Where do we start? *1 euro and then 29 to pay. Know that if you do this with the thought that you will cancel before the end of the month, you're completely wrong. They charge you 29 at the end of the month anyway, even if you cancel your subscription earlier. *You find a house on the website, you call and they say it's already booked, and then there's another house that's three times as expensive. I'm stopping here, I don't feel like writing anymore. Too nervous. Thieves.

The website is nothing more than a bulletin board for real estate agents. You pay 19 euros per month for Pararius (why? Just for an e-mail newsletter!) and then you pay each real estate office separately if you want to request a viewing. Requesting via Pararius is fictitious. There are even property advertisements that have long been full of viewings, old advertisements thus. Just a lure for real estate agents.
