At all costs avoid doing business with these people, whether you are a tenant or landlord. I rented an apartment in The Hague and unfortunately it was half sold to these people. There was no check-in report or professional cleaning when we checked in and I had agreed with the previous owner that there would be no professional cleaning and that was passed on to them. A woman named Farah called us to come for a pre-checkout. During her visit everything was explained about the apartment and the many problems and she was very understanding and wrote down everything. She asked us to count the boards and what wasn't ours. She left us with a very understanding and friendly note. During check-out a man named 'Wouter' came in and he was so rude and ill-mannered that he kept slamming doors, shouting and kicking things, which terrified our old pet who had to witness all of this. And he didn't even check the report that Farah had done. He came in with a problematic attitude and ultimately he literally kicked us out of the apartment by shouting: 'Get your stuff out and leave now!' Later I contacted Farah, who was present during the inspection before checkout, but she did exactly the opposite and started deceiving us. They held the deposit for more than a month and I sent them an email to ask about it, but they only responded after I had sent a certified letter stating that I would take legal action. In the end, in order to get my deposit back, we made a deal that I would pay for professional cleaning 'which I didn't get during check-in', which cost me 350 euros. Again, avoid doing business with that unprofessional, lying and unfair office.
