Avoid at all costs doing business with those people, whether you are a tenant or landlord. I rented an apartment in The Hague and unfortunately it was sold to them for half. There was no check-in report or professional cleaning when we checked in and I had agreed with the previous owner that there would be no professional cleaning and that was passed on to them. A woman named Farah called us to come for a pre-checkout. During her visit, everything about the apartment and the many problems was explained and she was very understanding and wrote everything down. She asked us to count the dishes and what wasn't ours. She left us with a very understanding and friendly note. During check-out, a man named 'Wouter' came in and he was so rude and impolite that he kept slamming doors, shouting and kicking things, which enormously terrorized our one old treasure who had to witness all of this. And he didn’t even check anything from the report that Farah had done. He came in with a problematic attitude and eventually literally kicked us out of the apartment by yelling: 'Get your stuff out and leave now!' Later I contacted Farah, who was present at the inspection before checking out, and she did exactly the opposite and started to deceive us. They held the deposit for more than a month and I sent them an email to inquire about it, but they only responded when I sent a registered letter stating that I would take legal action. Ultimately, to get my deposit back, we made a deal that I would pay for professional cleaning 'which I didn't receive during check-in', which cost me 350 euros. Again, avoid doing business with that unprofessional, lying and unfair agency.
