It was a good experience with Tysma, the real estate agent had time to understand our story and the value of the house well, and later also took this into account in the sale, it is not a standard residential home but a qualitative and zero energy house, in a quiet beautiful neighborhood in Diepenveen. We had a very disappointing experience with Tysma Makelaars! Our offer on a house was accepted and we went to work with the greatest care: we applied for a mortgage, completed all required steps and remained open in communication. Unfortunately our mortgage was rejected due to an issue with the house (land use), making it no longer suitable as collateral for the bank. In accordance with the purchase agreement, we lawfully terminated the contract within the set timeframe and submitted all required documentation, including the official rejection by the bank. From that moment on, however, our experience with Tysma Makelaars became very concerning. The real estate agent tried to unilaterally extend the mortgage period without our permission and even suggested that we had to resubmit our mortgage application with an outdated and invalid employer declaration - something our mortgage advisor would consider fraudulent. When we refused to comply, we felt pressured and accused of wrongdoing simply because we adhered to the law and the terms of the contract. Throughout the entire process, we experienced a lack of professionalism, transparency and integrity. Instead of supporting an honest and lawful solution, it seemed the office was more interested in enforcing a quick sale, regardless of legal or ethical implications. Buying or selling a house is an important life decision and you expect honesty and integrity from a real estate agent. Unfortunately, that was not our experience with Tysma Makelaars.
