We had a bad experience with this real estate agent. They were the selling agent for the house that we purchased. Very passive attitude, no decisive action. Information was withheld, or not shared. This only came to light when we pursued it ourselves. The house was left with a lot of junk and filth. And when we reported all of this, we received another passive, nonchalant response.

The start was a bit chaotic, we had heard something different from each other, which resulted in Johan and Jolein unexpectedly standing on our doorstep. After a tour of my house, I already received a preliminary market value verbally, allowing me to proceed with my mortgage advisor. Time was pressing a little, but within no time the report was ready. The Supreme Court stated in 2012 that ‘... contract fees or administrative costs are a so-called ‘unreasonable benefit’ for the landlord if the services are performed solely or primarily in the interest of the landlord, such as viewing the property, providing a rental agreement, creating an inventory list and the like...', this 'professional' realtor clearly disregards the rule of law. Don't get involved!

Unfortunately, I do not have a good experience with Evink & Petrovic Makelaars. During the rental of my home, I had to send many emails for maintenance on the property. It took 7 months before any action was taken after I formally notified them. Also, the problems that I had in the house were still not resolved, but never mind that. The lease agreement states that after termination of the lease agreement, the deposit will be refunded within two months. Gerrit does not adhere to this either. His own words were 'I do it my way' and 'are you in financial need or something, that you want it back so quickly?'. A lease agreement is made to set agreements on paper. But Gerrit Evink doesn’t care about that. He does it his own way and therefore does not adhere to the agreed-upon terms stated in the contract. Also, the contract stated that administrative costs would be deducted from the deposit. Legally, this is not even allowed and the administrative costs must be recovered from the landlord / owner of the property. I am sure that if I hadn’t started talking about this, these costs would have been deducted from my deposit. Now it's just a matter of waiting to see when I get my deposit back. In any case, it is taking longer than two months after termination of the lease.
