After long hesitation, I have decided to share my experience with this real estate agency. Years ago, I engaged Hoom Makelaars for the sale of my home. Unfortunately, I must note that during this process, my vulnerable financial position was exploited. Instead of acting in my best interest by selling the house as quickly and favorably as possible, the sale was deliberately delayed to my conviction. Only when an investor/buyer specializing in buying and reselling real estate came into view did the sales process suddenly accelerate. This course of events has completely stripped me of trust in an honest and transparent sales process. I can therefore not recommend this real estate agent to fellow home sellers, especially not to those who find themselves in a financially vulnerable situation. Integrity and ensuring the client's interests should have been paramount here.
