Proposal from this broker: Fixed Brokerage of 1.35% and a 10% bonus if the sale is above the asking price. This asking price then needs to be set very low in the market so that the chance of a bonus for this broker is significantly increased. Another requirement of his is that the sale of my house must go through him, otherwise the purchase of our new home will not proceed. Where he is the selling agent. We had directly approached the seller, which turns out to be incorrect. This broker has therefore lied blatantly. In summary, he is expensive and unreliable. Typical of what's wrong with real estate brokerage - a deficient duty of care. So don't do it!

Our house has been in silent sale for a while; at some point we smoothly transitioned to a sale via Funda. That went very smoothly and quickly, without any administrative hassle. The consultation with the real estate agent was pleasant and effective. We chose a good sales strategy together that suited us, fitting the situation where we had already bought another house (subject to conditions). That worked well! Hence 5 stars for this real estate agent.
