It felt good to be in charge myself and save a decent amount — in my case between €6.300 and €9.000! A real, real recommendation for everyone who wants to sell their home independently!

I thought I was getting a good deal through Mijnhuisverkoopikzelf, but in the end I missed out on €22.500. After receiving an offer that left me satisfied, I was advised to agree to a lower amount, supposedly because the valuation might come out lower. What that advice was based on remains unclear to me. In hindsight, the valuation turned out to be higher. Nevertheless, I was told that this would come out lower – which simply wasn't true. An expensive lesson and a missed opportunity.
