Great help with the purchase of a home. These are nice, professional and reliable real estate agents who understand the business and have really saved us money in this overheated market. I can wholeheartedly recommend the entire team of DE Makelaars!

To start positively: the back office is well organized, employees are quick and effective. I unfortunately can't say the same about the gentlemen. They are nice guys, but talk doesn't fill holes. For the price they ask, you expect better service and quality. Would recommend to find another makelaar, not worth the money

Moderately assisted by Marc during the sales conversation for our new-build home. He knew less about the property than we did and gave us incorrect (e.g., the house had a bathroom while he stated it didn't) or incomplete information. To give a concrete example: we would like patio doors. Marc indicated that this was not an option. Later, however, it turned out to be an option with the contractor but was not listed among the possible options. When we started discussing this with him, he said that we should have asked Heijmans for the options, even though there was a list of all options. Subsequently, an internal document emerged in which other buyers had raised this question. Marc could have known this and failed to properly and completely inform the customer. In short, what Marc added to the process remains a mystery to me. I would not recommend this real estate agent. Still gave two stars because the rest of the office was nice.

They deter potential buyers (us) because there were enough applications for a house, and they allegedly didn't receive our request to schedule a viewing the day after the house appeared on funda. When does an email not arrive anymore? Tried again a week later and then we ended up on the reserve list. Surely you don't want that as a selling party, keeping possible buyers away? Besides being more expensive than Van Herk, this kind of practice prevents us from having our property sold through this real estate agent. edit: following reaction: YES, I was FINALLY approached because a reserve spot became available. After-dinner mustard considering we were actually very quick to apply. But the seller AND the realtor must both understand that if the house is located near a busy road, as a potential buyer of a property worth more than 800,000 euros, you would like to stand in the garden behind the house during rush hour, and not only at a time deliberately outside of it. In addition, this timeslot was over 2 days after the call, and you really need to be able to make that happen.
