I bought our house (4 years ago) and recently sold it through Marcel Vijgen and couldn't fault him at all. He is reliable, flexible, expert, gives good advice and is easily accessible. He did his utmost to sort things out while I was away. I highly recommend him!!

Viewing scheduled for Thursday. On Wednesday we were called to say that the house had already been sold.. then the seller is told that the real estate agent contacted everyone who had a viewing scheduled to ask what these people would potentially want to offer. This was never asked of us! Vijgen real estate agency is anything but reliable.

A special experience.. Our eye fell on a beautiful house with 2 house numbers and the corresponding permit for rental at the Eygelshovergracht in Kerkrade. After making an appointment, we were able to view it that same day. So far, nothing but praise for Mr. Vijgen's response speed. What disappointed us was that the property did not have a permit at all, but only enjoyed an entry in the BAG register. A friendly real estate agent who pointed out the missing documents was almost laughed out of the room. At his request, I contacted the municipality, which informed me of the absence of the documents in the archive. In other words, ILLEGAL. Mr. Vijgen was idiomatically kicked up a notch. There followed childish communication where Mr. Vijgen didn't let us know anything for a week and reacted sharply to even the slightest question that he wasn’t pleased with our questions. Disappointed but still interested, we informed Mr. Vijgen that we had commissioned an appraiser to value the property so as to place a bid on the house. 3 hours after the appraisal, we called Mr. Vijgen twice and sent a message to find out that the property had been quickly sold to a third party. The fact that this real estate agent falsely informs both us and the buyers and fails to do justice to the seller by not hearing their offer does not surprise me. Not affiliated with any professional association, it wouldn't surprise me if the real estate agent turns out to be the new owner of this property. Perhaps speculative, although it certainly would not surprise us. Greetings Jimmy
