That process indeed went well and with good communication. Meanwhile, I have been living in a complex by Van der Linden for a year and a half, and I would no longer give four stars. Van der Linden is only motivated to earn as much money as possible, with as little work as possible. A true property boss. The rents are enormously high and are increased every year by the maximum legal percentage. This without anything improving the living conditions/property. It's allowed according to the law, so it’s done. Furthermore, complaints from residents are standardly not answered, denied, or countered with vague arguments, resulting in nothing changing and problems remaining. For example, I recently had a significant leak in my tap, where liters of water flowed over my floor every day. When I then indicate this as a repair, it is dismissed as a minor leak, which falls under personal responsibility, so at your own expense. Again; it’s allowed according to the law, so it’s done. In short: if you have the choice, look for another landlord! It will save you a lot of money and frustration.
