Unfortunately, I had a bad experience with Domicilie in the past. I was interested in a rental property on Kleterstraat in Nijkerk that they were offering. An appointment was made with Marijn for a viewing, including date and time. Subsequently, we received an email shortly after saying that the property was suddenly already rented out. I found this extremely strange and unfriendly to customers; I always assume that an appointment is an appointment, but clearly it wasn't the case. Afterwards, I emailed asking for more explanation about the process. Again, I received a vague, unclear email in return. Domicilie primarily focuses on the acquisition, sale, and rental of commercial real estate; it was clear they lacked experience with communicating with private individuals. I regularly see that the relevant realtor offers properties for sale at unrealistic prices, causing these properties to remain for sale longer than usual, despite the heated housing market. Perhaps a case of 'stick to what you know'? Overall, Domicilie has worn out its welcome with me as a seller of private real estate and I will choose another realtor for the purchase or sale of a property who better understands the market and private individuals.
