Unfortunately, some things went wrong at the bank and SVn that should have gone smoothly the first time around, which ultimately made it still exciting regarding the transfer date. We would have appreciated being advised earlier that there might be additional notary costs when applying for a starter loan. Regarding the experience, I can only say good things. But regarding the support and especially the communication, there is still room for improvement. The communication didn't really go super from start to finish. For example, sometimes not calling back (after repeatedly having called). Forgetting to mention that a viewing was scheduled. Update: in the meantime spoken with Bram. A good, open conversation. Although we still stand by the content of the earlier review, we find it unjust to hold Bram fully responsible for this. There is a whole annoying confluence of circumstances. However, the communication (or actually, the lack thereof) and transparency towards us as buyers in that period after the draft purchase agreement should have been handled with much more care, but this is not attributable to Bram's bad intentions or unwillingness. We therefore retract this comment from our previous review. We also greatly appreciate that Bram took the trouble to start a conversation with us, was open to our story and took responsibility. Although we are still extremely disappointed in the outcome, this chapter is now closed to our satisfaction. _______________________________________________________________ Initially a positive impression of Bram. Friendly, very accessible and quick to respond. Nothing could be further from the truth, however. Where the process up to the draft purchase agreement went smoothly, there was radio silence afterwards. For three days our buyer's agent tried in vain to get in touch with Bram. During those same three days, we were happily toasting with family on our return to my parents' village, unaware of anything. When we finally got back in touch with Bram, it was stated that the list of items we had proposed (which should have been filled in by the sellers themselves) had been shot down by the sellers and therefore they no longer wanted to proceed with us. We received this message in disbelief. If Bram had bothered to contact us about this, since our proposal was a proposal (and no more than reasonable), then none of this would have had to happen. What later turned out, however, is that a new viewing request had been planned. Someone who wanted to come and look at the property for the asking price. Bram had indeed bothered with that. That something like this happens is very disappointing but unfortunately unavoidable. Where it really went wrong for us: the deliberate radio silence to create space for a new viewing and the lie afterwards. Bram, that you work on behalf of a seller is perfectly understandable but here your moral compass should have pointed in another direction.

Wij hadden een woning toegewezen gekregen en mochten komen bezichtigen. Daarvoor al telefonisch contact gehad en de vraag duidelijk gesteld of wij de enige zijn. Hierbij gaven ze aan van wel, dus vol moed en hoop naar de bezichtiging gegaan en ontvangen zijn door “Bart” daarbij heb ik wederom de vraag nogmaals gesteld of wij de enige zijn, waarop er geantwoord was dat wij de de eerste op de plaats staan en er wel meerdere bezichtigingen zijn. Na acceptatie van de woning waren wij verzekerd de woning te krijgen, omdat wij op de eerste plaats stonden. Mochten wij hem niet accepteren zouden ze doorgaan met de volgende. Helaas moest ik er elke keer achterna gaan om te vragen naar de voortgang. Vandaag weer gebeld en krijg ik doodleuk te horen “oh, heeft mijn collega gisteren niet gebeld?” Waarna er uitleg is gegeven door “Bart” dat er uiteindelijk een selectie word gemaakt op inkomen, terwijl wij makkelijk voldeden aan de eis. Wij voelen ons hierdoor geprofileerd en helaas gebeurt dit vaker dan gedacht. Goed gewerkt!
