For a property at Neerhem 77 in Valkenburg, we had a viewing some time ago. Because we had to travel almost 3 hours, I asked beforehand if there were any particulars and whether the condition of maintenance, which was supposedly good according to the realtor's advertisement, was actually the case. The realtor assured us that there were no particulars and that we could come by without worry. Once we arrived, things started badly; the facade as a whole needed renovation with respect to the window frames and plasterwork. When we wanted to go inside, it turned out that the realtor did not have his key with him and had to rush to the office to retrieve it. Once inside, we were amazed by one thing after another. There were cracks throughout the entire property, and contrary to the photos, the whole made a very neglected impression. Almost all doors, ceilings, and plasterwork needed to be addressed or renewed. The realtor also suddenly stated that asbestos was incorporated into the property. In short, for a property which was said to have no particulars and was in good condition, it was a huge disappointment. No apology was ever made for the incorrect information that was provided.

In May 2019, my husband and I started looking for a new house. By chance, Corio real estate agents was the selling company, engaged for the first property we viewed. During the viewing, we started talking with Annet Kleinen, the agent who showed us around. When it came up that we still had to sell our current home and hadn't yet chosen an agent, she made a non-binding appointment with us to perform a valuation. Annet was incredibly attentive and really helped us get things sorted out for the sale. That is why we were happy to work with Corio real estate agents. The collaboration went perfectly. If we had questions, we could always contact Annet, and if she wasn't available for any reason, we could safely leave our questions with the back office. We never remained unassisted. Thanks to the hard work of both the company and Annet herself, we sold our apartment within 2 weeks. Everything was thought of, and we hardly had to worry about all the official matters. Therefore, we would recommend Corio Makelaars as a company, as well as Annet Kleinen, to everyone. Impatient and disappointing !!. One day after the viewing ( De Vaart in Geleen ) I sent my data to my advisor. Reason is to have them calculate what my maximum mortgage may/will be. I was called by the real estate agent around 1:30 PM to make an offer. I couldn't make an offer at that time because I hadn't heard anything from my advisor yet. I had asked her and said I would keep her informed by the end of the afternoon. Fine and great she said. Around 2:00 PM I sent her a WhatsApp message saying that I want to buy the house for the asking price. I received no feedback. I called her at 4:30 PM and she didn't answer, so I left a message. The asking price of the house was €189 K, luckily I didn't buy it because I can borrow a mortgage of €230 K. I would rather buy a house from another real estate agent who does respond to their clients.

Deeply disappointed, in 4 months it hasn't been possible to receive a callback even once. Called, emailed, nothing helps, keep away from here. As long as you pay your premium and everything seems fine, but appearances deceive; as soon as something happens, they are unavailable. Cancelled the entire package and this too goes wrong; communication is clearly not possible here, you have to arrange everything yourself, and that could be much better elsewhere.

I am normally not someone who leaves bad reviews but now I feel compelled to do so in order to save other people a lot of time and misery. We had an introductory meeting with the financial advisor from FinSafe. This was a pleasant conversation, and despite the fact that we had actually already chosen another financial advisor, we decided, based on this introduction and after reading several good reviews, to switch to FinSafe. Well, we wish we hadn't! I have never experienced such terrible communication as in this company. You have to chase everything yourself, they keep you informed about nothing regarding new developments, and finally, they make a lot of mistakes. And then I’m talking about gross errors, repeatedly a different calculation regarding financing space, each time a different outcome. Incorrectly entered data, even entering a completely different address! We received a mortgage proposal for a house which we had not purchased. Ultimately, we ourselves contacted the mortgage provider to track down this error!! There was an exchange of data, simply a data leak! In addition, the two advisors involved contradicted each other several times, so you didn’t know where you stood. We had 8 weeks to get the financing finalized, which they had to postpone twice due to sheer negligence and incorrectly provided information, causing everything to be delayed. In one word: UNPROFESSIONAL. This period has only cost a lot of stress and time. That's not even mentioning the personal clashes with Mr. V. That was the icing on the cake, he attacked us in a very inappropriate way. He brought up private matters as an excuse for why he had once again failed to perform his work properly. If you didn’t inquire further about this, you were blamed for it too. They never took responsibility for their shortcomings and certainly no apologies for the mistakes made and improper treatment. Ultimately, the entire process lasted well over 12 weeks, and we only received final approval one week before we had to leave our home. End well, but definitely not all good. I can only advise people one thing and that is to stay far, very far away from FinSafe. This is a very concise description of our experience with them; we hope to spare others this lesson.

In the first week, we sent an email about the defects, which we received no response to (heating held in place with wire, a shower that falls off the wall. Mice in the property. Cracks in the walls that were 'repaired' with filler.) The worst thing is that they don't respond to anything. But as soon as they can collect money, they are on it. The property was described in the contract as being in a child-friendly neighborhood while there were multiple police and ambulances in the street every day. Contact with Mr. Ter Tanje is also a treat. Mr. doesn’t answer or is as blunt as a farmer.
