Renée is a professional real estate agent with a personal touch. Expert guidance when selling the home of a deceased family member, with understanding for the situation and circumstances. Communication via email and later WhatsApp was accessible and smooth. Had a few minor issues with the Move online sales portal, but this is probably more an exception than the rule. I would definitely recommend Renée if you want to sell a property in Limburg.

Op 15 augustus 2025 vroeg makelaar Timon Dols (Arvalis) ons om €13.000 boven ons bod te bieden, met de toezegging dat de woning dan aan ons gegund zou worden. Nog diezelfde dag ontvingen wij van hem per e-mail de bevestiging: “Conform telefonisch onderhoud bevestig ik hierbij jullie aankoop van de woning.” ’s Avonds volgde opnieuw een telefonische bevestiging dat “het wel goed kwam met openstaande punten”. Tot onze verbazing werden wij daarna volledig buitengesloten van de communicatie. Op 21 augustus belde hij met de mededeling dat de woning tóch aan een andere koper was gegund. Op onze formele klachten richting de makelaar én de directie van Arvalis is tot op heden geen inhoudelijke reactie gekomen. Feit: wij hebben op verzoek ons bod verhoogd, kregen schriftelijke en telefonische bevestiging van de aankoop, maar werden daarna genegeerd en buitengesloten. Wij delen dit zodat anderen weten hoe hier met kopers wordt omgegaan.

Agreed tasks were not followed through and made arrangements were not kept. Additionally, I was confronted with a debt collector, while the service provided did not seem to comply with the agreed terms. In particular, the application of article 15 from his conditions does not seem to have been respected. All this has led to a very unpleasant and disappointing experience.

Update: Real estate agent sentenced to repay deposit, statutory interest and all legal costs (double what he would have paid if he had transferred the deposit properly). In addition, he must also transfer €2600 in service charges that I overpaid. (Also an official ruling from the rental committee) This provides some extra context to the realtor's hypocritical reaction to this review. See photos for a response to the realtor’s reply to this review. Very bad experiences with this real estate agent. Agreed on a rent of €880 for 45 m2, it was initially supposed to be €800 but another potential tenant apparently offered €880 spontaneously. I could get the apartment if I put down the same amount because I had the 'favorite factor'. In my enthusiasm, I said yes, which turned out to be a terrible choice afterwards. After a few months, I asked if I could end the contract earlier due to nuisance, which was not possible (which is fine in itself but this fact is relevant later, as I had to rent for at least one year). Then I was approached by Bumarang bv from Groningen, they apparently represent tenants who are paying too much according to their calculations and can initiate proceedings with the rental committee. Somewhat hesitant, I started this process because I was clearly paying far too much. They contacted Schreinemachers to announce that they were going to start a case at the rental committee; I received an email from Schreinemache about an hour later asking if I wanted to end the contract immediately (which wasn’t actually possible :)) because they didn't want legal proceedings. Of course, I did not agree with this. Long story short, I paid €800 in base rent plus €80 in service charges. After a visit from the committee, which measured everything in the apartment, the base rent turned out to be +/- €440. Quite a difference, and then there were still €80 in service charges for heating and €200 in service charges for water. These service charges can subsequently be reclaimed if it turns out that I, as a tenant, have not completely consumed these costs. The next unusual point was the rent increase that Schreinem tried to implement; after intervention from Bumarang, this increase proved to be unfounded and just a random amount. Bumarang clearly instructed Schreinemachers how much he was allowed to increase, and then Schreinemachers dutifully adopted it. The latest, so far, scam action by Schreinemachers is the non-repayment of €880 deposit after the final inspection which has already taken place (I have since moved out). Mr. Schreinemache had a document with him regarding the final inspection; there were no defects and we both signed it. Because I knew things wouldn’t end easily, I clearly asked Schreinemachers when I could expect the deposit. 'This week or next week.' That was until I received an email from Schreinemachers the next day containing a ‘final settlement’, asking me to agree to €950 (deposit plus overpaid service charges) and that would settle everything. Of course, I said no because, as explained earlier, I can expect to reclaim far more service charges than those paltry +/- €80. Besides, the deposit is separate from this; I should definitely receive it since we both signed the document and he also made a verbal commitment. There’s no reason to think that I owe him any costs for 2023 given that I already had to get back €80 for 2022. After I sent 'no' as an answer, Schreinemachers apparently felt his ego was wounded; suddenly, Mr. didn’t want to transfer the deposit anymore while he wanted to settle it himself about three hours earlier via email. After some back-and-forth emails (also from Bumarang, who stated that Schreinemachers was very unprofessional), Schreinemachers would like to proceed with a debt collection process which will be started as soon as he doesn’t pay within the intended timeframe.
