The home office, for me an experience I hope not to encounter again in our search for our home. Substandard communication, turning away potential buyers and acting distrustfully. It's a good thing we only encountered them during a purchase we wanted to make. We would have liked to entrust them with the sale of both of our own homes at a next contact. Fortunately, we didn’t do that.

I am extremely satisfied with the service of Het Huiskantoor! Through friends, I came into contact with Rutger, the owner, and after our first conversation, I was immediately convinced. He gave honest advice, made a clear estimate, and took the time to answer all my questions. I knew right away that I wanted to work with Het Huiskantoor and haven't approached any other office. After our first meeting, an appointment for signing the contract was quickly scheduled. Rutger even gave me contact details of a bank for a non-binding mortgage application, where I was also helped fantastically. Throughout the entire process, I was excellently informed about every step: from taking photos to planning visits and receiving bids. Even the external estimate for my loan matched Rutger's estimate exactly. What I also appreciate is the involvement in the sale, so that both buyer and seller experience the process with a good feeling. Looking for a rental apartment, we were shown around Lommel by Britt Vandael and Pelt by Irma De Brouwer. Both ladies demonstrated expertise and customer friendliness. Ultimately, we went for a property in Pelt. Irma showed us around several properties on different days, showed empathy and thought constructively with us. When we found a suitable apartment, she arranged a pleasant meeting with the owners and handled the administration neatly and professionally. Every time we called her with yet another question or clarification, she answered us kindly and patiently. Irma does not limit herself to renting out a home but tries to find a place for her clients. I don't often write reviews, but here it is necessary. As a buyer, I experienced Het Huiskantoor Lommel from start to finish as top-notch. There was no incentive for them to help me as a non-paying customer, but this office exceeded my expectations. What a customer experience. Their former colleague Dean is a smooth and polite guy who showed us the house and set up the initial communication. Good stuff. Afterwards, Inge completed the file and that was simply the ideal combination of friendliness, punctuality and professionalism. Always on time, always kept all appointments, always accessible with a listening ear or solution. I work in the industry myself and you don't often see this! If there are people who want to sell or rent out their real estate through Het Huiskantoor in Lommel, then you have my blessing. :) Ask for Inge, then you are in good hands. 11/10 would recommend.
