I'll call you back Monday morning (it's Friday) immediately to schedule an appointment for a viewing. Then we know exactly what the viewing days are. On Monday morning I’ll just call myself: oh well, you can’t get a viewing because the viewing days are today and tomorrow and are already fully planned.....HUH !??? I called a realtor who appraised our house a few months ago. Can you perhaps arrange something for us? He immediately started calling Met Ons, but couldn't get through to them either. Then quickly send a message from the realtor to Met Ons. Met Ons calls back on Monday afternoon. An extra viewing moment has been scheduled. Can you Thursday afternoon? We can of course be enthusiastically happy about that. Met Ons calls back on Wednesday afternoon at 5:15 PM. Unfortunately, we have to inform you that someone else has made an offer and that the owner wants to continue negotiating with them. We unfortunately have to cancel tomorrow's appointment.... HUH...!???? We strongly suspect that we were taken for a ride by Met Ons. That they lied about the extra viewing moment to keep us (and the realtor) on the line long enough. The viewing days were just Monday and Tuesday..... And that contact can only be made with an external call center that cannot connect us to the relevant realtor who manages the house sale, unless it is important enough. Unfortunately, Makelaardij Met Ons doesn’t even know what they canceled. It could have turned out really nicely for them (from our side). Never had a good/bad experience with Met Ons before, but this experience has damaged my trust unfortunately.

Ik heb een pijnlijke en vreselijke ervaring gehad met Roel. Als NVM-gelieerde makelaar hield hij zich niet aan de richtlijnen. Ik ben hier vreselijk gediscrimineerd. Als expat verlaten we ons huis, familie en vrienden en komen we vol vertrouwen naar een nieuw land, maar mensen zoals Met op Makelars brengen ons in een pijnlijke situatie. Wat er precies gebeurde: ik bekeek een woning die door Met Ons werd aangeboden en bood het hoogste bedrag slechts 30 seconden voor de deadline, zodat het bod niet zou uitlekken. Er waren nog maar 30 seconden over en niemand kon na de deadline nog bieden. Maar tot mijn verbazing bood iemand na de deadline via e-mail 500 euro meer dan ik. Dit is strikt in strijd met de NVM-richtlijnen, die stellen dat er na de deadline geen biedingen meer geaccepteerd mogen worden. De makelaar accepteerde het bod en nodigde beide partijen uit voor een tweede biedronde. Ook dit was weer een vreselijke ervaring. Een heel verhaal. Kort gezegd: de makelaar bevoordeelde de andere koper en beïnvloedde de eigenaar, die bereid was het huis aan ons te verkopen. Het heeft mijn vrouw en mij meer dan een maand gekost om van deze schok en ervaring te herstellen. We zijn er mentaal erg van slag van. Wees alsjeblieft voorzichtig als je een huis van hen koopt.
