We had a particular house, right in the middle of nature and on leasehold. Quite a challenge for a real estate agent. But at Staete they handled this excellently and noticeably enjoyed tackling it. They put a lot of work into it and organized everything well.

The realtor had a pretty good knowledge regarding the sale of our house. It also started out fine. As the sale took longer and didn't go as expected, things didn't quite run smoothly in that area either. We really sometimes had to push them. What I was most disappointed with is the communication. We bought our first home through this real estate agent, which should have been a wonderful step. Unfortunately, the house turned out to be full of hidden defects. From the moment we discovered this, the real estate agent suddenly became very difficult to reach. Instead of brainstorming or mediating, they immediately said: “Contact legal assistance, because the seller is unwilling to cooperate.” Later it turned out that the seller was willing to discuss the matter — so that wasn't true either. When we indicated that there were defects that had not been reported, we were told: “Do you think we’re going to check if everything works?” We found that downright unprofessional. As a real estate agent, you present a property with certain information — shouldn't buyers then expect that information to be correct? Or at least communicated honestly? In short: very disappointing and unreliable experience. We therefore absolutely do not recommend this real estate agent, especially not for first-time buyers.
