A very disappointing experience. I was still open to renting the property, but instead of a conversation I got a fine immediately. No willingness to discuss or find a solution – only a cold, automated response. That's not how you treat serious customers.

Extremely rude and passive-aggressive communication. I explained that I had problems with the fact that I hadn't received a response for two weeks after asking whether they could be of service to us at all. They answered that they would check our documents. That didn't happen. When I pointed out that the communication was confusing, I was told not to point fingers and that in the future I should read the agreements. Really disrespectful.

Het is lastig om in de huizenmarkt iemand te vinden die je eerlijk behandelt en oprecht met je praat. Maar met Robin van The Dutch Realty Agency vonden we iemand die ons hielp onze weg te vinden in deze soms ondoorzichtige wereld. Hij heeft ons enorm geholpen bij de verkoop van ons huis voor een goede prijs en, ik weet dat het cliché klinkt, bij het vinden van ons droomhuis. Hij reisde zelfs met ons mee voor alle bezichtigingen die we in de loop van een jaar hebben gedaan, over behoorlijke afstanden. Dankjewel Robin. Dankzij jou verlaten we Amsterdam in een betere staat.

Robin was ontzettend behulpzaam tijdens mijn hele traject van huizenkoop. Hij heeft fantastisch werk verricht door de juiste prijs voor mijn bod te bepalen. De communicatie was van begin tot eind helder en consistent. Tijdens de inspectie gaf Robin doordachte suggesties voor mogelijke reparaties en zorgde hij ervoor dat ik volledig op de hoogte was. Zelfs nadat de aankoop was afgerond, bleef hij contact met me houden over eventuele reparaties en nam hij contact op met de verkoper om ervoor te zorgen dat alles in orde was. Zijn toewijding en opvolging maakten de hele ervaring soepel en stressvrij. Een echte aanrader!

Although the real estate agent found a good apartment for me, I am absolutely not satisfied with the service level of Robin. On the Facebook page of Dutch Realty Agency it states: 'We will guide you through the entire process, from intake to key transfer, and remain your contact person throughout the rental period.' This was absolutely not the case with Robin. He promised to contact me about the logistical aspects of the rental property, but he did not, even after I had emailed him several times. If I as a TENANT pay thousands of euros to a real estate agent, you do expect a basic service level. It was pure laziness on his part, and I will not recommend him or the real estate agent.

Out amsterdam was very available through out the process, and open to talk about every step, also they handled cleaning, emptying the apartment, so I didn't have to go there at all. Very easy for me.

Ik raad iedereen die z'n huis wil verhuren of verkopen een samenwerking met Laurens aan. Ik heb zowel de verhuur als verkoop bij hem gedaan. Hij is kundig en betrouwbaar, snel in communicatie, iemand die meedenkt en oprecht betrokken is waardoor je rust en vertrouwen ervaart en dat is heel waardevol in zowel een verhuur- als een verkoop proces.

De verkoop van mijn woning is erg prettig verlopen, ondanks de uitdagende markt. De makelaar dacht actief met mij mee, speelde goed in op de situatie en gaf mij vertrouwen gedurende het hele proces. Daphne was my realtor when I sold my house. She is a driven, mega enthusiastic woman who works with humor and style. She does the styling herself and she does it well! It also saves a lot of money, you don't have to hire a stylist. I experienced her as a pleasant person and an honest realtor. The bidding process went through eerlijk bieden.nl. However, during the bidding and selling process, there was cheating by placing a fake bid by the family of an interested couple. They could therefore bid with prior knowledge, which is not allowed, even punishable. They therefore had the highest bid. My house would therefore go to this couple in accordance with the rules. I myself withdrew the mandate from this family when I found out about their false game just before signing the preliminary sales contract. After a lame excuse letter from their side, I stuck to my position. I did not want these cheating people in my house which I was very attached to. Then came the stories from these people; first, trying to blacken Daphne and me with the claim that we would have given a higher bid instead of to this family. BBDB is verreweg de beste makelaar waar ik ooit mee gewerkt heb. Nu heb ik vooral ervaring als verkopende partij, maar in 2025 zocht ik een woning in Amsterdam en zonder Almar Bakker was dat nooit zo goed gegaan als het nu ging. De deskundigheid en punctualiteit is uitzonderlijk. En ook is Almar heel geduldig en altijd correct. Zijn collega's ook trouwens. Als aankoopmakelaar heeft Almar me voor alle fouten die je kan maken behoed en de uiteindelijke aankoopprijs was zonder hem een stuk hoger geweest. Het mooie is ook dat ie zich helemaal in je kan verplaatsen en dat zijn adviezen daardoor perfect aansluiten. Soms had ik het gevoel dat ie me beter kende dan ik mezelf. In ieder geval heeft dit geleid tot een heerlijke woning in precies de buurt die bij me past. Echt indrukwekkend.
