On Wednesday we were called to say that the house had already been sold.. then the seller is told that the real estate agent contacted everyone who had a viewing scheduled to ask what these people would potentially want to offer. This was never asked of us! Vijgen real estate agency is anything but reliable.

Ik heb vier jaar geleden een huis gekocht en onlangs weer verkocht via Marcel Vijgen en ik ben zeer tevreden over hem. Hij is betrouwbaar, flexibel, deskundig, geeft uitstekend advies en is altijd bereikbaar. Hij heeft zich enorm ingespannen om alles te regelen terwijl ik weg was. Ik beveel hem van harte aan!

Ik had bij deze makelaar een bezichtiging. Meneer deed zeer ongeintresseerd, nam me niet serieus en wist geen vragen te beantwoorden. Contact opgenomen met het bedrijf voor de vragen, ze zouden hier op terug komen en na 2 weken nooit meer wat vernomen. Zeer onprofessioneel!

Very bad experience with Smeets Vastgoed and especially with broker Ad. Our offer on a house was accepted, and we had already received the purchase contract. There was however an error in the contract that needed to be corrected by Ad himself. While we waited politely for the corrected version and the building inspection was already planned, we were suddenly called to say that the house had been sold to another party. Due to his mistake, we could not sign, while everything else was finalized. We find that Ad acted negligently and carelessly and was not transparent in communication. Because of this, we lost our chance on this house and feel treated unfairly. A very disappointing experience. We would absolutely not recommend Smeets Vastgoed (and Ad). Stay away from them to avoid disappointment. This is not how you treat people.

Absolutely Realty is for me an A-B-S-O-L-U-T-E !!!!AVOID!!!! Peter and Saskia 'helped' my sister (and myself indirectly due to living abroad) with the sale of a house. The property was valued 40,000€ lower than by another realtor and WOZ without P and S having physically viewed it. Many big promises and playing on the feelings of my sister is their negative strength because she was in an emotional situation. Appointments were not kept due to poor communication (so-called sent emails which we never received), incomplete sales contract (only with name, email address and 06 from buyer) with a dubious potential buyer whose husband was nowhere to be found, they were married to each other in various ways and vague reasons came up that made everyone suspicious except.....Peter and Saskia. My sister was advised to quickly sign this incomplete contract containing many errors which THANKFULLY did not happen. For Sale sign was hung more than a week late. Planned viewings I heard through the grapevine instead of from the realtor. On November 21, 2024 our house was sold and on January 9, 2025 the for sale sign still hangs WITHOUT 'sold' mentioned in the window. People are still asking why the house hasn’t been sold.....

Linda is pleasant to deal with and helpful. This house and the circumstances weren't an easy job, but it was still achieved. There was only a large difference between the selling price and the final yield, but that was because something seen as an advantage in the house turned out to be a disadvantage for many interested parties.

Hired by a competing heir who stopped at nothing to have the appraisal exactly tailored to the client's wishes. Totally not market-compliant and much worse, not validated by/with an affiliated industry association CHF, NVM, VBO and vastgoedPRO, real estate agents and mortgage guarantee fund for owner-occupied homes. Very bad experience with this realtor and be prepared that if you file a complaint they will simply ignore everything and fail to respond, hence 1 star while it should actually be 0.
