Really a terrible experience. We found an apartment much faster through another real estate agent after we had ended our cooperation with Solid Net. Here is the long story: My friend and I were looking for a rental apartment in Amsterdam, and we knew it would not be an easy search, especially since we were students. Therefore, we decided to put our trust in Solid Net Real Estate. We worked together with Jorge and Naomi for more than a month, but we could no longer tolerate the extra stress and frustration. Many of the apartments we received turned out not to be available for students or had other drawbacks that were important to us (we received apartments that were available for 12 months; with very small second bedrooms; etc.). During the communication, our messages were not read by the agents or our concerns (for example, our hesitation to pay 12 months of rent in advance) were answered disrespectfully or brushed aside ('the chance is lost', 'you're a student!' '-again-' + we received messages intended for other customers and were addressed with the wrong names). When we tried to express our concerns about the communication, we were received hostilely. Moreover, the same apartments were sent to us one after another, even after we had already reacted. Messages were copied and pasted as answers and sent multiple times, and the way things were phrased was often quite condescending. My friend and I kept looking on our own and tried to make the process easier by sending extra apartments that we thought looked good. Often, we either remained unread or heard nothing for about four workdays. Because the stress was increasing, we started booking our own viewings and eventually got several, even as students. Through Solid Net, we received a total of two viewings, where Jorge and Naomi couldn't be present. A third one we booked ourselves and asked if they could be there for the 15-minute time slot. Since they were 13 minutes late, they couldn't tell us much. We regret that the cooperation did not go more pleasantly. We are unsure whether it was because we were students or young women, but in any case, the hostility became too great and we decided to go with another company. There, we were immediately received with respect and understanding for our situation.
