I could place a long story here about the many outstanding responses and unfair/false information that we have received from Dave de Jongh in the negotiation process, but I won't do so here. Apparently, Dave only thinks about his own self-interest. Doing your best for the selling party is fine, but in an open and honest way. Even then, we would certainly have reached a conclusion, but with a good feeling for both parties.

Good communication, short lines, expertise and friendliness of the employees. Next time we would definitely choose van der Krabben again, both for buying and selling!

Through Van der Krabben Real Estate, I rented my first rental property. Viewing the rental property was well organized, plenty of time to ask questions. Afterwards, I had forgotten to ask a question, made telephone contact and the receptionist neatly left a callback request. I was called back later that same afternoon. We bought our first home through this real estate agent, which should have been a wonderful step. Unfortunately, the house turned out to be full of hidden defects. From the moment we discovered this, the real estate agent suddenly became very difficult to reach. Instead of brainstorming or mediating, they immediately said: “Contact legal assistance, because the seller is unwilling to cooperate.” Later it turned out that the seller was willing to discuss the matter — so that wasn't true either. When we indicated that there were defects that had not been reported, we were told: “Do you think we’re going to check if everything works?” We found that downright unprofessional. As a real estate agent, you present a property with certain information — shouldn't buyers then expect that information to be correct? Or at least communicated honestly? In short: very disappointing and unreliable experience. We therefore absolutely do not recommend this real estate agent, especially not for first-time buyers.

Looking for a real estate agent? Searching further is really a waste of your time. The way Rob Timmers guided us in the purchase of our semi-detached farmhouse with outbuildings deserves more than 5 stars. Rob literally looked between the walls and under roof tiles to see if anything was wrong with the buildings, researched surrounding plots, pointed out important points and renovation costs to us, and even managed to negotiate a discount off the asking price during these turbulent times. What does that cost then, you might ask yourself? A fixed amount that is surprisingly half of what the competition charges. When I pointed this out to Rob, his down-to-earth answer was; 'We believe we should be able to deliver good work for this amount.' Buying or selling a house, I don't think it makes much difference. The guidance is truly personal and if you engage this team, you no longer have to worry about anything during the entire process.
