This realtor respects no agreement whatsoever. Do not trust them if they accept your offer and the purchase process is already underway, where you pay for inspections, etc. It was agreed that the property would be taken off the market, but they were still waiting for a better offer.

Absolutely appalling behavior. DBH Makelaardij handled the seller's side of a property we wanted to buy. After we made an offer on the condition that the house be taken off the market and it was ACCEPTED, they postponed the signing of the contract and still collected offers, which led to an overbid. We decided to withdraw from the accepted bid and go for another bid. They may or may not have used our offer to increase the bids. I can't say that with certainty, but looking back, it seems like a strange coincidence that the contract meeting took place after the bidding deadline. And this happened after we had scheduled and carried out a technical inspection of the property for which we paid. We weren't even given the opportunity to match the new offer; we were only told that they were withdrawing and going for the other offer. All of this may be legal, and within the rights of the seller, but he is still acting in bad faith and deceivingly. Very unprofessional, bordering on unethical. -1/10. I would strongly recommend not using their services for buying and/or selling.
