When purchasing the Bonkelaar, I had brought along Inge from Vidamakelaars. The selling realtor was also present. I must say that the selling realtor didn't really try hard to sell the apartment. I was glad that Inge from Vidamakelaars was there.

Our experience with Vida Makelaars is frankly disappointing. One star is actually too much for this disgusting realtor! During the first viewing, we were already greeted unfriendly. The realtor made no effort to actually sell the house and seemed completely uninterested in us as potential buyers. This was an extremely unpleasant start. Despite this, it was the house we were looking for, so we decided to make an offer. Initially, the house was promised to us, we were quite happy with the house. To our surprise, however, a little later (on the day of the technical inspection) we heard that our bid was not sufficient after all and that there had to be re-bidding, despite the fact that the house had already been sold to us. As someone in business, I have never experienced anything so unprofessional. There was also no understanding from the realtor. The only thing this unprofessional lady could say was: 'This is allowed, nothing is on paper yet.' No consideration was shown for the fact that this is morally reprehensible and absolutely unprofessional. Ultimately, we did buy the house, at a much higher price, because we really wanted it. (Fortunately, our purchasing realtor prevented us from making a bid that would have been another 15k higher.) Finally, again the communication with Vida was frankly unpleasant during delivery. We were once again confronted with an unfriendly and grumpy attitude from this lady. We do understand that sometimes it can be difficult to make deals, and that a realtor has to sell a house for a third party and wants to receive the best price (which also failed) but some empathy and friendliness is at least what you would expect from a realtor in my opinion. We will strongly advise everyone not to enter into business with this realtor.

Despite the notorious reputation of real estate agents, the level of dishonesty and inconsistency here was astounding. When we finally chose a house, we felt completely abandoned, almost as if Aemstelle was collaborating with the seller's agent against our interests. Throughout the entire process, it was difficult to say whether their actions were due to intentional deception or simply staggering incompetence. I advise everyone to avoid this real estate agency. They not only unnecessarily complicated our experience of buying a house but seemed to almost sabotage it. In an industry that already struggles with trust, they really set a new low point. A resounding 0/5 from me.
