Stay away from this company!!!! They will never return your deposit! They try to charge you extra when you leave the property! They don't pick up the phone. When we came to the office after waiting a few months for the deposit, we were physically touched and hit by the director of Rotvast! We are going straight to the judge and the police!

I only had a few days to find a place in Delft for my exchange semester, but with Kevin's help, I managed to do it! He was extremely professional and friendly, and always responded super quickly. Since this was the first time I was renting, and also in a foreign country, I was quite stressed, especially considering the competitive housing market in Delft. I ended up with this agency for temporary rental between two owner-occupied homes. This has been one of the worst experiences I've had in years. The low points: - Contract with unreasonable conditions - Trying to collect municipal taxes where they have no authority - Being late for key handover - Unreachable by phone, connection is dropped - Incorrectly recording meter readings and later claiming far too high consumption - Continuously failing to honor contracts and agreements - Very rude owner. This man sends “get a life” as a response when I point out the various problems. And he doesn't respond when I ask him if this is normal behavior Think very carefully before renting with this agency. There are better real estate agents in the Delft region.

Extremely offensive and rude staff. They charged me a lot of money in administrative fees! When I left, I cleaned the apartment for two days, but they withheld half of my deposit for cleaning costs!

After a lot of hassle finding a rental property in Delft, Rotterdam and The Hague, a friend of mine recommended this real estate agency. I got in touch with Kevin from their office in Delft. He made the process extremely pleasant and efficient. He is very helpful and friendly. Definitely a recommendation...

I will leave a 1-star review for all my accounts, so that people avoid you. Before you respond with the typical '99% of the 1-star reviews come from people who have never hired us before', know that I was unfortunately a customer of yours.

So far a very good experience.

Never signed, because they ask for illegal fees. They are always rude and hard to reach.

I wish I could give them 0 stars. Their office is the only thing that reminds me it's a company, because in all other aspects their negligence, rude attitude and general knowledge were astonishing. Why someone would voluntarily do business with them is a mystery to me. Even before I lived in one of their apartments, they did not respond to emails or phone calls to sign the contract, nor did they send me the registration form from the municipality, while I only had one week to move and had already cancelled my current contract. They absolutely did not inform me that apparently they were closed during that week. Since my friend was already living there, I asked for the landlord's contact details and emailed him directly. When Oude Delft finally reopened, they called angrily saying that communication had to go through the real estate agency. 'If you had only communicated, I could have acted on it.' This comment was not appreciated and there were more angry reactions directed at me. Moreover, their contract contained an unfair administration fee of € 150,-. Naturally I refused to sign until they removed that clause, which they did not do. In the end I lived there until the end of the 'agreement' without ever signing anything. They even called my girlfriend and asked him: 'Who does she think she is?', not knowing that he was my girlfriend, and tried to prevent her from coming to live with me. I had already paid two weeks of rent when the landlord sent me his signed registration form from the municipality. He had signed it directly after my request, but Oude Delft refused to inform me of this. The heating never worked properly. We were the first tenants in the building and had informed Oude Delft multiple times by post and phone about this problem in October, but nothing was done, yet the bills kept coming. In March of the following year I told them that I would deduct the month's rent due to their negligence. They said threats were not appreciated, but eventually apparently a visit from the heating company was arranged, without any further communication from Oude Delft. The problem was never resolved. The friend who replaced me when I moved in never got his deposit back because I hadn't signed and he had to wait a whole year for the reimbursement of a full month's rent, something we often had to follow up on without getting an answer. All in all a terrible experience with a lot of unnecessary stress.

The renting process went smoothly and I quickly found a house! A very responsive team!

One star is far too many for the absolutely terrible experience we had with this substandard 'office'. They are happy to take you as a tenant and quickly deposit your security and rent into their bank account, but after they have given you a contract …

Good communication. Within a day a room was found. And a week later the contract was signed. In total it took 2 weeks to find a place and now everything is settled. The house is nice and clean.

Very bad landlord. Do not keep any appointments. 100% not recommended

Doesn't add up to anything. No words for it. If you are really curious about the reason, feel free to try and figure them out yourself, I would say.
