Ik vond het best een uitdaging en een beetje overweldigend om zelfstandig op zoek te gaan naar een huis en om alleen naar een bezichtiging te gaan. (Waar moet je op letten? Welke vragen mag je stellen? Er komt zoveel bij kijken!) Alice kwam toevallig op mijn pad als aankoopmakelaar: ze verving iemand die op het laatste moment had afgezegd. Ze gaf me meteen het vertrouwen, de geruststelling en de gemoedsrust die ik op dat moment nodig had, en tijdens de bezichtiging voelde het alsof ik werd begeleid door een vriendin (een hele wijze en deskundige!).
