Not recommended. We bought a new house and sold our current house through this real estate agency. On the day of the transfer, they did everything to please the buyer and didn't protect us, despite having been paid for their services.

Review of a rental service: I had a terrible experience with them. Not an honest real estate office. They place an advertisement with low prices to attract attention. But the final assignment takes place via a bidding process, resulting in a much higher final price. So don't let yourself be misled by their low prices. However, the biggest problem is that they do not inform all participants about the bidding process (this happened to me), so don't expect fair competition. There is no such thing as the principle 'first come, first served'. There is absolutely no transparency in the process and no consideration is given to the common etiquette of waiting in a line.

I am certainly familiar with this real estate agency because I bought my house that was sold through this broker. When we came to view the house, the broker was curt and rather grumpy. Also at the handover, the broker was not very correct. I cannot understand how people sell houses like this. For us buyers, this is one of the most important events in our lives. And on top of that, a house in Amsterdam Oud Zuid also costs an enormous amount of money. We have seen and spoken to many brokers but this is definitely one of the most disappointing real estate agencies we have come across. I hope that the real estate agency can do something with this, because apparently they sell beautiful and good houses.

BBDB is verreweg de beste makelaar waar ik ooit mee gewerkt heb. Nu heb ik vooral ervaring als verkopende partij, maar in 2025 zocht ik een woning in Amsterdam en zonder Almar Bakker was dat nooit zo goed gegaan als het nu ging. De deskundigheid en punctualiteit is uitzonderlijk. En ook is Almar heel geduldig en altijd correct. Zijn collega's ook trouwens. Als aankoopmakelaar heeft Almar me voor alle fouten die je kan maken behoed en de uiteindelijke aankoopprijs was zonder hem een stuk hoger geweest. Het mooie is ook dat ie zich helemaal in je kan verplaatsen en dat zijn adviezen daardoor perfect aansluiten. Soms had ik het gevoel dat ie me beter kende dan ik mezelf. In ieder geval heeft dit geleid tot een heerlijke woning in precies de buurt die bij me past. Echt indrukwekkend.

We kunnen Almar van harte aanbevelen. Hij was een absoluut cruciale schakel in onze zoektocht naar een woning in Amsterdam, en we zijn er zeker van dat we ons huis niet zonder hem hadden gevonden. What an experience with this moving company... On the preliminary contract they gave us, the address was incorrect... It looked like a scam. Fortunately, we noticed it! According to them, it was just a small mistake... We gave them a second chance because we needed housing. They sent us the contract, but some parts were unclear, especially one. When we asked questions, they weren't answered professionally, which only increased our doubts about the reliability of this company. Ultimately, we decided to look for another company that takes better care of its customers, and then they also asked us to pay cancellation fees... Scandalous.

Wees voorzichtig met Chantal als je een expat bent en huurder/huurder. Wat in werkelijkheid niet waar was, want in het huurcontract stond dat het appartement alleen geveegd hoefde te worden. Ze zei dat ze een spinnenweb in de slaapkamer had gevonden en vroeg zelfs of ik er "nachtmerries" over had gehad. Ze sprak Nederlands met de verhuurder, dus ik kon het niet begrijpen. Gelukkig deed de verhuurder het juiste: ze herinnerde zich dat de krassen van haar vorige collega-huurder waren en nam niets van mijn borg af. Het was de meest vreselijke en vernederende ervaring die ik in 10 jaar in Nederland heb gehad. Als u de verhuurder bent, kunt u er zeker van zijn dat ze waarschijnlijk geweldig zal zijn en aan uw kant zal staan ​​om ervoor te zorgen dat de huurder een deel van zijn borg kwijtraakt.
