Vorig jaar heb ik samengewerkt met Mensen in Beweging toen ik op zoek was naar de aankoop van mijn eerste huis. Helaas was mijn ervaring verre van goed en eindigde op een zeer onaangename noot: Ik heb Irene Timmerman als mijn makelaar ingehuurd voor een vergoeding die hoger is dan het standaardtarief in Amsterdam, omdat zij beweerde een end-to-end service aan te bieden. Gedurende de hele periode heb ik een gebrek aan proactiviteit van haar kant waargenomen bij het zoeken en delen van eigendommen. Haar aanpak ontbrak nauwgezetheid, waardoor ik uiteindelijk zelf op Funda naar woningen ging zoeken en deze met haar deelde om te helpen bij het plannen van afspraken, die vaak vlak voor de sluitingsdatum lagen. Dit zorgde voor een extra druk in de besluitvorming in een toch al competitieve markt. Ze beweerde ook een uitgebreid netwerk van makelaars te hebben, maar ik besefte al snel dat dit niet helemaal het geval was, omdat haar focus meer op verhuur lag. Zelfs haar beoordeling van eigendommen werd genomen vanuit het perspectief van huren, in plaats van kopen. Omdat we bijna een jaar lang weinig vooruitgang boekten, besloot ik het contract te beëindigen. Ik gaf haar de feedback en vroeg om uit elkaar te gaan, aangezien ik niet tevreden was met haar diensten. Bij het contract waren annuleringskosten van € 1500 betrokken, waarvan ik ook heb geleerd dat dit niet gebruikelijk was, aangezien de meeste makelaars werken volgens een 'no-cure-no-pay'-aanpak. Toen ik vroeg om elkaar persoonlijk te ontmoeten om mijn feedback te delen, weigerde ze ook naar Amsterdam te komen omdat volgens haar “de gasprijs te hoog was”. Ze noemde me ook ‘onzeker’ en emotioneel over mijn zoekcriteria, de criteria waaraan ze zich hield bij de start van ons contract. Zij dreigde met incassomaatregelen als de vergoeding niet binnen twee weken betaald zou worden. Dit is een uiterst vervelende ervaring geweest en in vergelijking met de Makelaar waarmee ik daarna heb samengewerkt, zie ik het gebrek aan expertise en professionaliteit van People on the Move. Ze hebben misschien een trackrecord op het gebied van verhuur, maar ik zou ze ten zeerste afraden om als expat in Amsterdam je huis te kopen.

Al ruim 3 maanden woon ik in mijn fantastische huis, mede dankzij Leslie. We hebben samen heel wat advertenties afgestruind, wijken bezocht en huizen bekeken. Leslie denkt out of the box, is erg betrokken, kundig en enthousiast. Ik zou het zeker aanraden om Leslie in te schakelen.

Makelaar neemt de tijd voor de verkoop is betrokken bij verkopende partij en denkt mee met verhuis en verbeter mogelijkheden.

Helaas kan ik niet een lager cijfer dan dit. De meest slechte makelaar die ik ooit mee heb mogen maken. Wist veel te vertellen over zijn persoonlijke leven, vrienden en hoeveel geld deze hebben maar wist de belangrijke zaken als ligging van tuin en erfgrens bijvoorbeeld niet. Meerdere naasten vroegen zich af of Mendes een echte makelaar is of dit erbij deed als hobby. Nog nooit zo'n slecht geschreven koopovereenkomst gezien! Ik zou Mendes aanraden als je veel wilt weten over zijn persoonlijke zaken maar als je echt iets inhoudelijks wilt weten over een woning zou ik deze makelaar voorbij rennen.

Waardeloze makelaar, zegt veel doet weinig. Hoop bla bla. Maakte fout op fout met alles en de koopovereenkomst en doet dit niet eens zelf maar laat het doen. Alles gaat telefonisch niks word beantwoord per mail of app zodat je achteraf weinig hebt bij klachten. Is ook nergens bij aangesloten zodat achteraf klagen geen zin heeft. Pas op met deze makelaar mooie praatjes om een opdracht te pakken Als hij deze heeft ben je niet interessant meer en beurt alleen courtage.

Leslie, is een goeie en fijne makelaar. Hij doet net even dat stapje extra om van elke transactie een succes te maken. Echt een vakman, met een stukje extra.

Lesley is een klasse apart. Deskundig, vaardig, grondig en gaat veel verder dan doorsnee makelaars. Een echte aanrader.

Ik ben via mijn hypotheekadviseur terecht gekomen bij Leslie. Hij was ontzettend positief over deze verkoopmakelaar. En... hij had helemaal gelijk!
