If you come from abroad, you sometimes find it difficult to navigate the cultural aspects of the housing market, especially during a housing crisis. Thanks to Daan, I was able to buy my first apartment in Amsterdam within 3 months! He gave advice on all aspects, such as finding a mortgage advisor, placing bids, checking the property. He handled the communication surrounding everything and was present until the key transfer. My advice to starters: you will need a lot of help to navigate the market. You must actively search Funda yourself, but for the rest, you need an expert.

Of the three brokers we had invited for a sales consultation for my mother's apartment, Laurens was best prepared and most sharply priced. His sales strategy focused on many viewings. So in that respect too, he didn't make it easy for himself. Once we had an offer, he called other interested parties to see if they would also like to make a bid. This resulted in two significantly higher bids. We found our contact with our buyer's broker Michael to be pleasant, honest, and also enjoyable! House hunting is a challenge these days, but Michael made it much less daunting for us. With his enthusiasm and knowledge during and after the viewings, we were able to buy our house within 1.5 months. Communicating with the ladies at the office was also quick and professional. Good accessibility and we certainly recommend them!
