27 Dec 2024I have arranged many of my insurances through Vlieg and when I was buying a new car, it was the logical step to request a quote here; furthermore, I also compared things myself online. Richard quickly sent me a quote based on what I had requested. Because I am not completely familiar with the subtle nuances between insurances and the price differences which varied, I asked for an explanation whereupon Richard once again inventoried my wishes in order to then find a tailor-made policy whereby I pay slightly more than through an online provider, but am assured of good service. Arranging both the new insurance and handling the previous insurance went quickly and I was kept neatly informed; even when I had questions about my new insurance after the purchase, I received a quick, correct and complete answer to my questions. In summary, I am extremely satisfied with the services provided by Vlieg and in this case with Richard’s commitment in particular, keep up the good work! :)

A number of options and possibilities were suggested without obligation that I could consider quietly at home. The feeling was good, so let the property here be put up for sale. Communication about viewings and other matters goes smoothly via WhatsApp and telephone so you quickly know what’s happening. All in all a very pleasant way of doing business. 17 Apr 2024Vorige week donderdag hebben mijn vriend en ik de eind inspectie van ons eerste koophuis gehad. We waren super zenuwachtig en nieuwsgierig tegelijk. Wij waren iets eerder dan de makelaar van DVA en gingen vast naar binnen omdat het regende. We werden vriendelijk ontvangen door de huidige bewoonster. Toen de makelaar aan kwam kregen we het gevoel dat dit niet de bedoeling was geweest. Er hing gelijk een gespannen sfeer. De bewoonster had ons die dag verteld dat er twee wespennesten in de schuur buiten zaten en die op haar kosten verwijderd mochten worden. We vonden het apart dat dit niet van te voren gemeld was en gaven dit aan bij de makelaar. Zij vertelde ons dat ze dit nog wilde doorgeven tijdens deze eind controle. Dat is een vreemde gang van zaken dat dit niet eerder aan ons gemeld is. Maar uiteindelijk fijn dat het op de kosten van de bewoonster weggehaald kon worden. Toen wij in de tuin en schuur aan kwamen lagen er nog allerlei spullen zoals 2 grote zakken grond/planken/gereedschap en grofvuil. De lampen hingen binnen ook nog overal. Wij gaven aan hier niks mee te kunnen en of dat nog weggehaald kon worden. De bewoonster gaf aan daar helemaal geen tijd/kracht/zin meer in te hebben. Opzich niet erg maar dat is niet het probleem van de koper om dit op te ruimen. Daarbij is het normaal dat een woning leeg opgeleverd wordt. Wij wilde dit wel opruimen maar tegen een vergoeding. De makelaar greep in en zei dat ze het ontzettend flauw vond en dat mijn vriend wel een "grote jongen" was om dat zelf te kunnen doen. Dit kwam erg kleinerend over want dit was simpel weg niet hoe een huis opgeleverd zou moeten worden. Het was een erg onprofessionele houding van de makelaar. Ze stond volledig aan de kant van de bewoonster. Uiteindelijk wilde de makelaar zelf alles gaan opruimen en meenemen in haar eigen auto en begon de planken te verzamelen. Dit ging niet allemaal passen dus kwamen we met veel gezucht toch tot een oplossing dat we er een vergoeding voor zouden krijgen. Heel fijn maar we hadden er allebei een raar gevoel bij. Bij de notaris aangekomen hebben we het verhaal nog een keer besproken en kwam er een ' nou sorry dat wil je toch horen..' vanuit de makelaar. We vonden het erg jammer dat het op deze manier is gegaan bij het kopen van ons eerste huis. Het geeft een bittere nasmaak. Dit verhaal in onze kringen een paar keer verteld te hebben kwamen de meeste tot een conclusie dat dit (gelukkig) niet de normale manier van zaken is. Vandaar dat wij hebben besloten toch een review achter te laten en te delen hoe onze ervaring met DVA makelaars geweest is.

For the readers' understanding, it is important to mention here that you are not a client of DVA Makelaars, and that we always carefully carry out the handover of a property. During the handover of this property, we dealt with an elderly lady who is in need of assistance. She did not receive help from her immediate surroundings when emptying the house, where everyone could see that she had done more than her best to hand over the property as well as possible to you. She handed everything empty except for a few items in the storage room. She also left a few wall shelves and some lamps hanging, which is quite common during a handover; new residents then immediately have light when doing renovations. Our client resolved the incident neatly by financially settling it with you, the buyers, on the spot. You agreed to this! We have to look after the interests of our client and have acted in the interest of our principal. It's a pity to now have to read a whole account of this minor incident which has been settled with more than a very good amount of money from our client. It feels like a slap in the face. We also find it disrespectful towards our principal. She even placed a Christmas arrangement in the house as a welcome gift for your new residents.
