My wife and I have a property in Haarlem and have been trying to sell it for the past six months. Unfortunately, it seems that the property did not receive the right attention, despite being located in the city center and within approximately 15 minutes' walking distance of Haarlem train station. It is worth mentioning that the apartment had a generous surface area and also had a parking permit. We were quite negatively about the chance to sell the property and felt that something else needed to happen other than continuing to lower the price as advised. Fortunately for us, we decided to use Overspaern Makelaardij and there has never been a better decision made, within one month the property was sold for a higher price and almost at the current asking price. Recently purchased a home with the help of Fizaad! Contact with Fizaad & the staff at the office went smoothly and quickly. The assistance during the viewings was excellent. Also, the process after the bid was accepted until (after) the transfer was very clear and well explained. This made everything very manageable for me. Recommended!

You must stop renting out apartments on Laan van Parijs. It has been constantly without heating for two years in the winter and construction work takes place every month. When we asked about construction during the rental period (because we saw one apartment under construction), Danique told us that it wasn't always like that, but that the construction hasn’t been idle for more than a month for two years!? The heating for the entire block and hot water have also failed at least three times this winter. The emergency line ALWAYS requires waiting an hour before someone answers. If anyone still rents from Laan van Parijs in Haarlem, that is almost unethical. Take a look at the Google review of Hoen Vastgoedbeheer, the owner of the apartments! Edit: the review is better because they contacted us and were respectful and understanding. Yes, the real estate agents can’t do much about it, but I would use this review to warn potential buyers of Laan van Parijs about the years-long construction work. This isn't a family-friendly apartment, better suited for singles or families with working/studying adults.
