Unfortunately, a very bad rental experience through this real estate agent. The property was handed over dirty with hairs in the bathroom and soiled underwear from the previous tenant still under the bed. In the 1.5 years that I lived there, many defects arose. For example, there was a short circuit due to the bath, there was constant mold on the walls in the bathroom, the lighting in the kitchen didn't work or partially, a gas burner never worked, and so on. Unfortunately, hardly anything was done about this and communication was very poor. You couldn't reach them by phone and they responded late to emails. All of this for a property of 39m2 with a rental price of €1430.

Avoid Doctor Makelaars. This is a warning for tenants. After 5 years of renting, they have not conducted an end inspection, while our deposit was withheld for more than a month and we were pressured by the previous landlord to pay extra 'repair costs'. No invoices, no receipts, no proof – only demands for money with threats of higher costs if we refused. Louise was our contact person and she did not mediate or protect us as tenants. Instead, we were pressured to pay undocumented amounts, which raises serious questions about transparency and compliance with the law. A very unprofessional and intimidating experience.
