I can say that they are the worst rental company I have ever encountered. Initially, I wrote a 2-line review, not detailed, with one star, and they published my full name because they blackmailed me to remove it. So I wrote this new, more detailed one, because you know how they work (see also the attached screenshots). Bad houses, bad service and fraud. We got the house at Geraniumstraat 35 (where the old clinic of Mr. Bristra, the owner of the company, was), and the conditions were disgusting. It still smelled like a pedicure, impossible to get rid of the smell. Mold everywhere, the roof was falling down in some places... It was a 123 year old house, without insulation, because they say a maximum of 6 months (legally you almost have no consumer rights in the Netherlands if the contract is that short). It took 2.5 months before they gave me back the deposit, and they confiscated 350 euros from us after we left to 'clean' things that were much cleaner than how we received them. They also demanded money from us for a supposedly lost old, cheap, simple key, which was not of the house. Go away. Don't let this kind of scammers make money by profiting from the housing situation they have created in Eindhoven.

Trust the other bad reviews: this real estate agency is a nightmare to deal with, and I strongly advise you to look elsewhere before signing anything with Brick Vastgoed. From the beginning, they misled us. During the apartment viewing, we pointed out mold, and the realtor assured us that it was a known problem and that there were already construction plans to fix it before we moved in. We were so foolish to trust them without having this documented in writing – a big mistake. When we received the keys, nothing had been done about the mold. After multiple complaints, they superficially cleaned a few spots and then brushed it off, claiming that mold and moisture are 'normal for Dutch houses.' They even refused to wash the curtains that were full of mold. Their second tactic: wrongful deductions from the security deposit. Keep this in mind if you sign with them. It seems their goal is to invent reasons to withhold money from your security deposit. I saw this in many other reviews as well. The behavior of Brick Vastgoed is unethical, unprofessional and very frustrating. Save yourself the stress and choose a better, more reliable real estate agency. This was the worst rental experience I have ever had. Edit in response to the owner of Brick Vastgoed: The arguments below are not even valid arguments, let alone related to my initial complaints. Furthermore, it is weak to shift the blame to the homeowner, as we had a lease agreement with your real estate agency. A rental agency that collects (high) rents should ensure that the properties they manage are in decent, livable condition – which was clearly not the case (see images below). Given the response from the owner, I would also like to highlight a third tactic they use: for all negative reviews, owner Nick consults his database to retrieve the full names of customers and insert them into responses on negative Google reviews – obviously not for the positive ones. This behavior is not only unprofessional but also constitutes a violation of privacy laws – yet another example of their scandalous practices.
