We found a property through the website of KI-Makelaardij and immediately requested a viewing. On the agreed day and time, we were warmly welcomed by Kim. We were given ample time to walk through the house at our own pace and for every question we had, we received clear and professional answers. Kim also excellently mediated between us as tenants and the owner as the landlord. On the day of the move, the key handover was originally scheduled in the afternoon, which was very inconvenient for us. We had actually already rented a moving van the day before to carefully prepare everything and start early the next day. After explaining this to Kim, she immediately understood and was able to move the key handover a day forward. This way, we could move without any stress and at our own pace. During the handover inspection, we walked through the property together and noticed a few small points of attention. These were immediately documented and photographed, which all went very neatly and transparently. Kim is a friendly, involved and professional real estate agent who reacts quickly, thinks along with you well and really helps you when you run into something. We can wholeheartedly recommend KI-Makelaardij to everyone!

We went days earlier for an inspection, but they didn't show up. We had spent more than an hour and time/money to get there. I tried emailing and calling them... No response. I understand that apartments sometimes get rented quickly, but in this case a short message that it was no longer available would have saved us a lot of headaches. A waste of time, I will not try to use their services anymore.

Het eerste contact was geweldig, erg behulpzaam. Toen er iets gerepareerd moest worden, was de service uitstekend. De organisatie is echter zeer onprofessioneel op het gebied van communicatie en financiën. Als het om financiële zaken gaat, reageren ze nauwelijks. Ze zijn verantwoordelijk voor de communicatie, maar verschuilen zich vaak achter de eigenaren van het gebouw. ​​Als ze fouten maken, dragen ze niet de (volledige) financiële gevolgen daarvan. Ik was blij dat ik via deze weg een mooie studio op een geweldige locatie kon huren. De hele communicatiestijl, het gebrek aan communicatie en het feit dat ze geen (financiële) verantwoordelijkheid namen, was echter irritant en had een aantal oneerlijke gevolgen.

Kim sold our house in a fast and professional manner. The communication was smooth and always to-the-point. Her advice was very valuable and that accelerated the sales process.

What a bad thing this is. Extremely rude and very poor communication. Very bad maintenance of the property but still asking the main price. After trying several times to resolve leakage and mold problems in the house, nothing had been done after 2 years. Do not do business with this woman! Received comment after 3 weeks about posting a negative review, after which she also removed my review. Apparently, honest reviews are not allowed to be posted.

In March 2021 I started renting a house at Lourdeshof through KI Makerlaardij. Here I had contact with Kim van der Steeg. After 2 months, we had a considerable amount of water on the floor in a bedroom and the wall was soaking wet; we reported this, and a plumber was supposed to come. After repeatedly unclogging the drain (which never solved the problem) and several months later, they concluded that the groutwork in the wet area of the shower was porous and therefore allowed moisture through into the wall. That moisture had been running into the wall for at least half a year at that point. They thought to quickly resolve it by tiling over it but because the moisture was already in the wall, the new grout started to mold. We reported this again, and as of 07/07/2023!!!! It has not been resolved. We have paid the full rent every month, which was not cheap at all. Every time we try to resolve it with Kim, she acts like she doesn't decide anything and that we shouldn't be contacting her, that everything is unpleasant. Then she comes along with the owner or contractors, and subsequently nothing is resolved. Ultimately, we moved due to all this misery. I advise everyone not to do business with KI Makelaardij to rent a property or have it rented out by Kim. She doesn't keep appointments; if you make an appointment, expect her to arrive at least 15 minutes late or not at all. As soon as she wants to make an appointment, everything has to happen immediately, while you are working and can’t let them know a day in advance that you need a free day. It's a shame you can't give 0 stars because even 1 is too much for KI Makelaardij. Overall, NEVER RENT FROM KI MAKELAARDIJ, the biggest mistake of my life; I haven’t experienced any enjoyment of living for over 2 years, all thanks to Kim van der Steeg. Another update: after moving out, we had made an appointment for a final inspection. And as you probably already suspect, Kim doesn't show up. After fifteen minutes, we texted her where she was, and then she came with the excuse that everything ran over time and she wouldn’t be coming anymore. Now she is making a problem of several things, such as weeds in the garden which are a meter high; if I had removed them neatly and they had then replaced the bathroom, they would have been at least 4 weeks further before a new resident could move in - by that time the weeds would be 2 meters high. The kitchen was supposedly not clean enough, which is only possible if Kim had shown up for the inspection where agreements about this could have been made, as is the normal procedure. Now she’s doing everything to make sure they don't return the deposit because she doesn't like that we complained about the property that never was right; very childish. Bad reviews are apparently removed… even though they are more than justified. I check every day whether the review is still there, if not I will just post it again.

After 2 viewings and the promise to hear something soon, never heard anything again. The real estate agent is unreachable and doesn't respond to anything. Disappointing.

Extremely unreliable and disrespectful. Missed appointments and phone calls. Answers emails with at least a week's delay. That’s not what you are looking for, at least not if you have respect for yourself. The laziest real estate agent of Eindhoven.

Thanks to Kim and KI-Makelaardij I have found my new apartment in Veldhoven. I am very satisfied with their service and the quality of the property. Always available for questions and help.

Terrible realtor. Viewed a house twice, with the promise after the second viewing that we would hear who was going to rent the house that same day or at the latest the next day. This was on Wednesday. Ultimately, we had to call them ourselves on Friday; they said she would call back that evening. Well, that didn't happen. Eventually, we called again on Saturday. After a voicemail, we received a callback within 5 minutes with a very vague story which amounted to someone else being chosen. The poor communication is strung together with excuses and if you manage to get hold of her, you’re really lucky. We genuinely regret having invested so much of our time and energy in this and would strongly advise others NOT to go into business with this realtor. You'll save yourself a lot of frustration by looking for a realtor who actually does what a realtor is supposed to do.

Fantastic experience with KI-Makelaardij! They were professional, efficient and expert throughout the entire process. My realtor was very attentive and gave excellent advice. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable real estate agent.

Scammers. I just helped a friend move out of a house he rented from this company. The kitchen roof had been leaking for more than 3 years (previous tenants had the same problem) and the leak was only fixed after persistent inquiries, as it wasn't a healthy way to live. Their 'solution' was to build on the roof so that all the water would collect on the neighbor's roof - not very correct or considerate. Although the leak was 'fixed', they never sent anyone to repair the water damage caused by the leak, which ran throughout the entire kitchen. Kim didn't even call my friend with the correct name when she called for the inspection, so she's poorly organized even on a good day. Her message came off as scammy and had to be verified by the owner before she could proceed. Despite the water damage from the leak, we thoroughly cleaned the house before leaving. It was left in the same condition as when it was received, except for light wear and tear, which is required by Dutch law. Naturally, Kim complained during checkout that the house was dirty and damaged, even though that's not true. They had overdrawn themselves and there's only 24 hours between tenants, so they're trying to shift the maintenance of the house onto the previous tenant. Legally, this doesn't hold up. Kim knows this and yet she tries to manipulate you to make money off you. If you're a tenant, RUN AWAY FROM HER. Don't rent from Kim or anyone she does business with. These people try to exploit expats and the housing crisis, but they're lazy. They ignore you during the rental period and scam you when you leave. If you're a landlord, you pay Kim for her specialty: scamming tenants. I agree with another reviewer who said she deserves 0 stars. I'm keeping this review separate and keeping an eye on her, because she likes to remove bad reviews.

Kim acts professionally and objectively without losing sight of the human aspect. Always available for good advice based on years of experience. Exactly what I am looking for in mediation between tenant and landlord.

scammers, 5 months ago I handed over the rented apartment and they still haven't returned my deposit, I paid a lawyer and they tried to scam me by charging for curtains in sizes that don't exist in the apartment I rented. They have not yet returned my money and I am going to file charges, unethical and thieves

Very unprofessional and not to be recommended. After I had seen a rental apartment that I really liked and after I had sent all the required documents, Kim, the owner of the real estate agency, gave no updates at all. I had to chase her multiple times and was told that I would get an answer the same day. I am still waiting for an answer... which probably will never happen.

Ten eerste hebben ze me opgelicht. Ze sloten eerst een contract met me af onder de naam 123wonen. Zonder me vooraf te informeren, hebben ze me echter een nieuw contract aangeboden via een nieuw bedrijf, KI Makelaardij, waar ik nog nooit van gehoord had. Ik vertrouw dit soort mensen nooit meer. Ten tweede hebben ze me te veel in rekening gebracht zonder duidelijke facturen. Ik heb meerdere keren berichten gestuurd, maar geen antwoord gekregen. Ze bellen me zelfs nog steeds met een verkeerde naam. Ongelooflijk, hoe kun je dit soort makelaars vertrouwen?! Ten derde maken ze het me aan het einde van de uitcheckprocedure nog moeilijker, terwijl dit al was afgesproken tussen huurder en verhuurder. Gedurende de hele periode was er geen service en geen enkele vriendelijke houding. Ik heb er genoeg van en ik ga een klacht indienen.
