Both before and during the viewing, the real estate agent made promises that they could not keep afterwards. That in itself is already bad. We were supposed to be called, but despite our attempts to contact the real estate agent (e.g., leaving voicemails several times requesting a call back), that did not happen. Via their website, we had to learn that the property suddenly stood “under option”. Subsequently, we received an email rejection with a reference to another house they have for rent. The rental price of this was almost double that of the property in question! On our reply to that email, in which we expressed our dissatisfaction, there is no further response. Simply unprofessional and also impolite to treat people like this and then not be willing to communicate about it. Sad!

Excellent service

For a property at Neerhem 77 in Valkenburg, we had a viewing some time ago. Because we had to travel almost 3 hours, I asked beforehand if there were any particulars and whether the condition of maintenance, which was supposedly good according to the realtor's advertisement, was actually the case. The realtor assured us that there were no particulars and that we could come by without worry. Once we arrived, things started badly; the facade as a whole needed renovation with respect to the window frames and plasterwork. When we wanted to go inside, it turned out that the realtor did not have his key with him and had to rush to the office to retrieve it. Once inside, we were amazed by one thing after another. There were cracks throughout the entire property, and contrary to the photos, the whole made a very neglected impression. Almost all doors, ceilings, and plasterwork needed to be addressed or renewed. The realtor also suddenly stated that asbestos was incorporated into the property. In short, for a property which was said to have no particulars and was in good condition, it was a huge disappointment. No apology was ever made for the incorrect information that was provided.

Accurate procedure and everything handled neatly according to appointment. That's pleasant, certainly not always the case in this industry...

Very bad experience with Smeets Vastgoed and especially with broker Ad. Our offer on a house was accepted, and we had already received the purchase contract. There was however an error in the contract that needed to be corrected by Ad himself. While we waited politely for the corrected version and the building inspection was already planned, we were suddenly called to say that the house had been sold to another party. Due to his mistake, we could not sign, while everything else was finalized. We find that Ad acted negligently and carelessly and was not transparent in communication. Because of this, we lost our chance on this house and feel treated unfairly. A very disappointing experience. We would absolutely not recommend Smeets Vastgoed (and Ad). Stay away from them to avoid disappointment. This is not how you treat people.

Absolutely Realty is for me an A-B-S-O-L-U-T-E !!!!AVOID!!!! Peter and Saskia 'helped' my sister (and myself indirectly due to living abroad) with the sale of a house. The property was valued 40,000€ lower than by another realtor and WOZ without P and S having physically viewed it. Many big promises and playing on the feelings of my sister is their negative strength because she was in an emotional situation. Appointments were not kept due to poor communication (so-called sent emails which we never received), incomplete sales contract (only with name, email address and 06 from buyer) with a dubious potential buyer whose husband was nowhere to be found, they were married to each other in various ways and vague reasons came up that made everyone suspicious except.....Peter and Saskia. My sister was advised to quickly sign this incomplete contract containing many errors which THANKFULLY did not happen. For Sale sign was hung more than a week late. Planned viewings I heard through the grapevine instead of from the realtor. On November 21, 2024 our house was sold and on January 9, 2025 the for sale sign still hangs WITHOUT 'sold' mentioned in the window. People are still asking why the house hasn’t been sold.....
