Ik heb mijn appartement met erfpachtconstructie verkocht, samen met Edgar van Van den Hoven. Wat een fijne makelaar! Hij heeft zich echt overal in verdiept en stond altijd klaar om mijn vragen te beantwoorden. Mocht ik ooit weer gaan verhuizen, dan ga ik zonder twijfel terug naar Edgar.

Zo’n 12 jaar geleden heb ik zowel mijn hypotheek als alle verzekeringen via het kantoor van Van den Hoven geregeld. Ik kan niet anders dan positief zijn over hoe snel altijd alles opgepakt en geregeld wordt! Met 1 telefoontje (of ook zo fijn: even langsgaan) meteen met de juiste persoon in contact. Of het nu gaat om een autoverzekering omzetten, een reisverzekering aanpassen of een schadeclaim😢. Zo blij met zo’n tussenpersoon, dat als er eens écht wat is, ze je gelijk ontzorgen. Ga zo door (alhoewel ik hoop jullie niet te vaak nodig te hebben 😉)!

Wij zijn zeer tevreden over deze makelaar. Hij weet duidelijk waar hij over praat en is goed op de hoogte van de woningmarkt en recente verkopen in de omgeving. Dat gaf ons veel vertrouwen tijdens het hele verkoopproces. De communicatie verliep prettig en laagdrempelig: hij was goed bereikbaar, duidelijk en dacht actief met ons mee. Dankzij zijn deskundigheid en aanpak is ons huis succesvol verkocht. Absoluut een aanrader.

This week called twice to make an appointment with Bram, until twice it was promised that Bram would call back but no response. Called today for the 3rd time and again it was promised to call back, indicated that this was now the 3rd time in 1 week, then suddenly an appointment could be made. Poor service for people who have been customers for more than 30 years.

At first, Edgar seems like a good realtor who is pleasant to do business with. Nothing could be further from the truth, unfortunately. After signing the purchase agreement, it becomes difficult to get in touch with this man. You have to chase him multiple times to get answers to your questions. The neighbor knew more about the house than the realtor himself…. Also, I had to find out myself whether the house could still be viewed before transfer… which seems like a standard procedure when buying a home. During the inspection, it turned out that the central heating boiler was not working. The realtor neatly stated that this would be resolved after signing the agreement. However, the notary asked if everything was in order and of course it wasn't due to the central heating boiler. Edgar was called and reacted unprofessionally and condescendingly about the problem. It’s the fault of the new owner and they should figure it out themselves. I don’t want to do business with this man again!

Housing information deliberately entered incorrectly on Funda to position the property more attractively. After reporting this, there was no willingness to correct it, 'yes, something went wrong'. Trying to steer the buyer towards the garden. Withholding information about concrete rot. Not a pleasant experience with Edgar Rieff. A negative feeling remains.

Meeuwis Real Estate proposes a viewing to have a client of his show us the house. I give him two times for the viewing. I receive no response from that, so I call him a day before the relevant day to remind him. He had forgotten. Can happen. I propose the two times again with the notification to respond. Again, no reaction. This realtor must protect the interests of a potential home buyer, but handles it like this. Today I meet a neighbor who also has his house for sale. Also deals with a buyer's agent, which turns out to be the same one, namely Meeuwis. He visited the neighbor’s house, but didn’t have the decency to give feedback.

By this message, I want to let you know that this company works very unprofessionally with both clients and colleagues. As soon as this worthless broker goes to view a house with a client from his side, via another broker, he will heavily criticize that house because it is not in his portfolio and he cannot earn anything from it. I have heard this from several candidates so far, who will also open their mouths about how this broker treats candidates, very sad and very unprofessional. He also stops communicating completely with the broker where the house is for sale, as well as with people who showed interest in our house. This also happened recently with a neighbor of mine who experienced the same rude attitude. People come along, make them wait, and don't show up, yes, that house was not in his portfolio either, very sad. Then the client calls this broker and the answer was completely forgotten. Will contact the buyer and let you know, and what do you think? Exactly, he also heard nothing from this great broker then. Will remain neat, scandalous and rude. So buyers and sellers, you are now aware.

Tom Meeuwis guided the purchase process for us regarding the acquisition of an investment property in Tilburg. In this somewhat overheated market, he advised us perfectly. This resulted in the purchase of a healthy-yielding building. Besides the aforementioned purchase process, he also surprisingly personally helped us after the purchase with drafting the rental agreements.
